Went here with my parents for a cheap roast! Can't complain the food was really good. About £8 per head here which is quite good really. I only give it 4 stars as I think it needs a little more "organisation!" The staff were a little absence if u get me. Tho did nothing wrong in particular so I can
Really good Carvery, unlimited veg and potatoes and for the price 4.89 can’t go wrong, even the kids can eat for £1 on a Sunday
Very nice food and very friendly staff we love bringing our family here I travel a 8 miles just to eat here because you always feel welcome
Has limited Sunday food menu. However this was not spoiled. The carvery was excellent and plenty of vegetables meats to choose from. Condiments ran out but staff were happy to refill. Staff were jolly in service and atmosphere. This pub/carvery was one of the better ones I have been in. After foo
Very good carvery. Crown seem to offer the lowest price for this type of meal. Service is normally good too. Yesterday Paul gave us a particularly good lunch experience. He saw that three of us were accompanying my three year old granddaughter. When we sat down he presented her with crayons and some
We've been going to the Dog and Partridge for a number of years as a family for Sunday lunch and it's always been a great experience. This is the first time for a while and we weren't disappointed. The pub's had a face lift (shabby chic country pub ).Now to the important bit. The staff are friendly
A good value meal as usual for a Crown carvery. We went on a Sunday so the carvery was a bit more expensive than it would have been if we went during the week but the deal on the children's meals about made up for it. The food is ok, it's not going to win any awards, but good for the cost. You defin
Excellent incredible value for money carvery; very welcoming staff and with some terrific cask ales from £2.40 a pint si you just can't go wrong. Not classy, also large and busy but a good stopping place for a quick tasty bite!
Food nice and hot. Only had a a few ends of meat left and there was a 20 minute wait for a fresh gammon and pork. But the pork i had was nice and tender as was the turkey. The beef looked dried. Spoons to serve carvery get far too hot. They need some sort of handle and not just the plastic spoon or
The carvery is amazing here, nice setting with a quiet family atmosphere
Always a great meal, although I'd recommend going earlier in the evening to avoid any issues with food running low. Highly recommended for families and get-togethers. Delicious food, very reasonable pricing - and with the carvery, there's unlimited veg (includes chips, etc). Fantastic place.
i found the ambience to my taste, the staff most helpful and pleasant, and the real ale very well kept. A bril atmosphere, the locals were also friendly. Shortish visit, but will try the carvery next time. .
