Food nice and hot. Only had a a few ends of meat left and there was a 20 minute wait for a fresh gammon and pork. But the pork i had was nice and tender as was the turkey. The beef looked dried.

Always a great meal, although I'd recommend going earlier in the evening to avoid any issues with food running low. Highly recommended for families and get-togethers. Delicious food, very reasonable pricing - and with the carvery, there's unlimited veg (includes chips, etc). Fantastic place.
i found the ambience to my taste, the staff most helpful and pleasant, and the real ale very well kept. A bril atmosphere, the locals were also friendly. Shortish visit, but will try the carvery next time.
