Best pub in Hazel Grove great atmosphere, great food, great staff attention to detail is second to none.
We visited during the hot spell a couple of weeks ago the landlords were handing out free ice lollies to everyone in the pub and beer garden top place love it
Moved to Hazel Grove a couple of years ago and struggled to find a pub which wouldn't have looked out of place on the set of 'Shameless' but this place is the business, some decent craft beers, decent music (Joy Division and The Cure yesterday...can't go wrong) tidy lounge, nice beer yard and Dogs are allowed in too. Top pub.
Brilliant pub, fantastic beer, incredible pizzas, and excellent staff. The landlords Ed & Eddie have really turned the place around- can't reccomend it enough
Great beer, food, decor, staff, comfortable beer garden and reasonable prices. Probably the best pub in the village.
Having won a meal for two with a bottle of wine that the Flying Coach had kindly donated my cricket club for their end of season do, we tonight redeemed the voucher... I have to say, the food and service were restaurant quality, and the bottle of house wine was the nicest "house" wine I have tasted! We will be back!!

Went here for a engagement do last night!had pizza and chips... food was amazing. Loved the decor. Would highly recommend going here, great atmosphere xx
no toilet rolls causing a major stink and a major row between customer and the barmaid when asked for some . the customer was too quick to berate the barmaid who was very busy serving a customer at the bar . the women complainant did not realise there was a loo roll dispenser in the ladies loo and as soon as the other customer was served the barmaid rectified the situation. some times it pays to take a deep breath before over reacting. the flying coach is a very clean friendly customer focussed and well run pub and I would recommend them to anyone. do good food too and a great monthly soul funk night on the last Saturday of every month .
Amazing food, amazing staff and an even more amazing pub dog. This place is the perfect place to wind down after a long day. Or to just get really drunk with the help of the bar staff. Definitely my local now
Good beer, good gin,' good food, good company 4 legged included! it's a warm, cosy and friendly environment to enjoy something to eat or maybe just a drink there's plenty to choose from.
I've seen this pub go from being at the bottom of the barrel, with a well known reputation hosting the worst kind of individuals, to becoming one the the nicest in Hazel Grove. Lovely hosts, lovely atmosphere excellent food and surroundings. Well done Robinsons. Xxx
Any pub which welcomes dogs gets a 👍🏼 from me
This one goes the extra mile , with water bowls provided & the resident dog is lovely
Only stayed for a couple of drinks but the overall impression was positive
A great place for a beer ed an eddy have really got this pub buzzing there's great fresh made pizzas and the flying coach is dog friendly as well .
Great beer, friendly staff , smart interior been a couple of times now and the place is growing on me
Awesome place, amazing staff and great food - winner
Great pub good beer pizzas are delish and Dog is so friendly. The staff are pleasant as well.
The ciders were good , a few dark ales would be nice. It was clean and friendly
We loved the dog! It was really good with our 3 year old grandson.
Joined my friend for quiz night, got there early and ordered the 25p wings, rosemary and garlic was the special. Really nice and hot. Ordered a Pepsi and my husband had a pint of unicorn. Overall was felt very welcomed and was a great evening with the quiz guy. Had an amazing night.
Ate here twice in late 2022
The first time was amazing: the fish and chips being perfectly cooked and the Friday deal making things such good value for money.
The second time we struggled to eat our meals because the fish was slimy and the chips lukewarm at best. At least it was still on the Friday deal so we hadn't paid full price.
We might give it a go again.
Went in because I had withdrawals from alachol previously and had some really really good lager/ale and got talking to people I'm not a friendly person but they go out of there way to talk to you what a brilliant experience loved it. Beats weatherspoons by far
Absolutely lovely place. Had tremendous fun at their quiz night. Extremely welcoming and friendly. And lovely to receive service with a smile and conversation.
This pub is definitely the pride of Hazel Grove. Eddie is definitely one of the best landlords you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting. The food is great, the atmosphere welcoming, clientele are friendly. Looking forward to enjoying the beer garden soon too. Live music, dog friendly too. Wednesday is Wing Wednesday for me. 25pence a wing. Quiz on Wing weds is a must. Forgot to mention the chef is a beast cook and the bar staff are friendly, knowledgeable and smiling.
Great local pub, friendly service and locals. Decent family friendly location.
One of my favourite pubs. Nice staff, decent beers, Wednesday quiz is great fun, live music at the weekends (although can be a bit loud as the main room isn't massive) good food, not expensive, nice sitting out area. All good! What's not to like??? 👍
Called in as they had a band on,Blind Tiger. Had some decent bitter on which made my partner very happy and the pub itself was really lively with a good atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and polite and the band were pretty good too.
Great venue, decent beer garden, really cosy. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. Good fresh hot food, And frequently have good live local music on.
