Having been recently refurbished to a very nice standard we decided to eat here, I have to say the food was far better than expected and very reasonably priced. The steak was cooked exceptional well having never had hanger steak before. This is a great welcome to how the pub was previously and I will definitely be visiting again. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars is due to staff not being particularly attentive, although this felt more because they were all new rather than a big criticism. There was a slight wait between courses and when asked for the card machine to pay the bill it didn't arrive, so we went to the front to pay, other than that it was a really nice e meal.

Recently renovated and is now actually worth going inside! They were making all the new menu food photos while I was in last. That food looked really good! Beer is good and wine selection is also good. Breakfast is also good!

Had my baby shower here last weekend. I could not recommend this place enough for a private function. The food was amazing (see photos)!!! We had a great private area inside and out and the staff could not do enough for us.

Popped in for a lite tea tonight, first time in ages. I had the Chilli Chicken wings with a salad bowl, both lovely, the chicken was succulent and do tasty, my husband had the chicken & Sweet potato salad which was also a hit. We will definitely be back thank you x

My experience in the Moor top is absolutely great on every visit, and the staff and managers max and nathan are so helpful in every way that this public house ticks all my boxes in every way that I'm most happy to spend part of my evenings with such nice people, I really hope that this will remain for many years to come, thank you and what a really nice place it is to spend a few evenings a week ,

Great staff. Pleasant surroundings. Hint - don't order the butternut squash and chickpea curry if you don't like coconut or you're hungry. I'd assumed it was Indian curry but it's more like Thai. Also, if you ignore the naan bread and rice, you're left with a pretty small half bowl of curry. It was tasty but spoilt because I'm not a coconut fan. Menu needs much more detail to avoid mis-ordering.

The Moor Top staff deserve a lot of credit. During an extremely busy service for the Stockport Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club this morning, nothing fazed them! The food was of a high standard. The place can't be faulted! Highly recommended!

Plenty of space inside and outside. Went for an early afternoon drink, served quickly and nice quiet atmosphere. Would imagine this place gets filled easy on a sunny afternoon and would recommend anyone going for a quick drink!
