Fabulous food, very friendly staff - highly recommend the Jerk chicken and Saltfish Patty.
Just took the 2 youngest kids in for early dinner. Staff were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. I felt a bit guilty about having the last portion of curry goat tonight as she could have sold 20 more portions! Kids loved it too. I heartily recommend it, it feels like you are eating in Bob Marley's kitchen!

Always a joy, friendly staff, happy atmosphere, great music and the tastiest food that is made with love, curry goat, rice and peas, ackee and saltfish, dumplings jerk chicken and so much more! this is without doubt my favourite place to eat, and my kids love Mama Flo's so much they ask to go in every time we pass. keep up the great work Mama Flo!!

Had a chicken curry with rice at mama flo’s. Really nice food. Just like home cooking. And Mama Flo is so lovely too. Will come again.

I now have a new favourite eating place! A really friendly welcome, great atmosphere and amazing food. For something different try this place, the jerk chicken and curried goat are so good! The homemade lemonade is just perfect too. Cant wait to go back and try some more dishes.

Weve just had our first ever taste, and should have done it sooner. Ordered for delivery which was super quick and when it came ... OMG! Stunning food. We got a combination and it was awesome . The oxtail completely took me back to my childhood and was as good as my dad's (best cook ever so that says a lot!) The curry goat was ace and the jerk chicken had an after kick you don't expect. The rice n peas and veg compliment really well.
We will definitely be returning and 100% recommend.

I have had takeaway on a couple of occasions, including their fish dishes and Ackee and Saltfish. Eating in, I recently had their Jerk Chicken - it may not be the best jerk in Manchester but Mama Flo’s has undeniable authentic charm.
Lovely welcoming cafe. We used to go to Mama Flo's when she was in Gorton. We went yesterday and the food was just as good. The Guinness punch and pineapple punch were yummy. Goat Curry and jerk chicken, generous portions and nicely presented.
Never been before. My son treated me to a bite to eat. All I can say is go there. What an amazing vibe. Top ladies who dance and serve 🌳 mendous food.
I've been craving for rice peas and chicken. I drove from Mac 20 minutes at the max. the shop and great vibes . Shop was very clean and updated I ordered rice peas aeand chicken. Spot on full of flavours. It was truly a Caribbean experience and I will be back again. Pleasant to see a nice fruit bowl and sweet which were free for the kids.
Spot on Carribbean food, really friendly staff happy to advise, Jerk chicken is some of the best I have had, Goat curry is fantastic and the pepper steak is well worth a try Dumplings and patties are also very good. Seating is limited but a great take away.

I have past this place several times and never went in. Recently though I saw a few video reviews of Mama Flo's and thought "I must try this out". Wishing I did a lot sooner. I chose curried goat on this occasion (see attached picture). It was really good and well worth it's price. I definitely will be coming back again.
If you haven't tried mama flos then do. Flo has a passion for what she does and you can see that in the food but also her customer service, always smiling with a warm welcome to all.
This place is amazing. Visited for the first time yesterday and will certainly be back. The food was great, felt really authentic and was clearly freshly made. It is also so reasonably priced for what you get
I was met warmly when I went to collect our order and whilst I didnt get to chat the service was genuine and the people were lovely
I don't know what goes into the gravy with the chicken split but I would happily have it everyday

Easy to park around side streets to the left of the shop.
Lord'a'mercy......this place a little hype about it recently, being the foodies we are, myself and partner visited there and could instantly see why.....lovely greeting traditional Jamaican style ( and I don't mean the rude look and "wa yu waant?")...more of a all smiles "how you doing my lovely people? It was if we'd been going there for years despite being our first visit.
Speaking with Mama Flo and her team, the passion and love ❤️ for their cooking is clear to see.
I chose the brown stew (one of my favourite dishes) and just like my grandma used to make...I pretty much inhaled it ha ha.
My partner chose the jerk chicken, which had been cooked over hot coal and with a real kick to it.
Absolutely loved it and is now my favourite Caribbean, so much so...I'm willing to take my grandad there to eat, which is a big deal (fussy old Jamaican man 🤣).
Over in Manchester again and will be visiting again.
Love this place so much, the food is amazing and mamma flo always puts a smile on my face, she is so happy all the time and you can feel it ❤️ makes me feel happy whenever I go here 😊
