This is maybe the best cafe in Stockport. Best coffee also. It makes it into all the fancy coffee books! Sandwiches are great here, soup is also popular. The cake was incredible! It's dressed up with lots of bike memorabilia, note the name.
Well worth going. Free WiFi also.
+ I think they makes full cakes to order...
Great independent coffee house, lovely brew, yummy food, friendly staff. Very clean. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely cafe, relaxed a great place to sit and chill wile enjoying a drink or some of the exelent food.
While definitely a coffee shop, I visited many times for lunch while working in Stockport. Their own selection of breads is great, making a normal toasty something special.
Prices are reasonable, the sandwich and soup combo is particularly good value, and the soups are homemade and hearty.
Dog and, if the name doesn't already suggest, cycle friendly.
Overall a great location for a quick bite, or somewhere just to sit with a coffee.
Love this place! Lots of recent cycling mags, pictures and other memorabilia to keep you entertained, whilst you dine on a freshly made sandwiches, cakes and the best coffee around.
My only negative point is that if you arrive too late, there may not be enough fresh bread to make a sandwich, but that's only happened once and is possibly a consequence of how good this place is. My suggestion: get there early and enjoy a sandwich with walnut and date bread. Lovely!
Popped in while passing as I needed a drink. Had a very good flat white, and a Ham and cheddar toastie on soda bread. The toastie was good, the melted cheese in particular having a very good flavour. The staff were friendly with quick service. Tables were clean and the place looked well kept. Will pop in again when passing. Thought the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food.
Pup friendly cafe with great sandwich/light bites menu, lovely cakes on display, offering vegan options too. Great coffee and lovely decor. Highly recommended for a nibble or place to relax with a good brew or cuppa joe.
Good coffee and excellent service at a very reasonable price. Pleasant seating. Only downside it is hidden away from town centre so only locals will know of it's whereabouts.
Best Coffee in Stockport. This is usually my first stop whenever i am in Stockport shopping etc. The Coffee is amazing and the staff are really friendly. Plus being a cycling fan there is always some book or magazine to read and people to talk to. It's great also if your not into cycling and just a coffee lover. 10/10
Lovely soup and sandwich at lunchtime and the tea is loose leaf which makes for a nice brew. Excellent service always friendly with a great vibe in the cafe. love this place at lunchtime with colleagues
Great food and drinks at very reasonable prices, friendly staff and good service. Had 2 lovely sourdough mozzarella and pesto toasties and the white hot chocolate is to die for! Thoroughly recommended.
We love this coffee shop. Very friendly and they do great coffees, a good selection of different teas and homemade cakes and freshly prepared food.
Incredible coffee and food, staff are absolutely lovely. ALWAYS a warm and friendly atmosphere even on the rainiest of days. I love you Tandem Coffee House
Wonderful coffee shop. Their food is great and the staff are always very helpful. Coffee is fantastic but I also love their tea.
Best black coffee in Stockport. Try the granola flapjack . Free wifi . Friendly and welcoming and lots of velo related decor. What's not to like ? Plus they sell root beer.
The tuna melt is great. The coffee is good. Can sometimes be busy, but generally there's always a table free.
I've been coming here regularly for over 3 years for lunch as well as well as meeting clients and working on my laptop. They servce delicious sandwiches (cheese and marmite sourdough toasty being a personal favourite) and a wide range of loose-leaf teas and coffees at at good prices.Tandem is run by a small team of friendly staff who took the time to introduce me to the different coffees.I'd recommend Tandem Coffee House to anyone looking for a tasty lunch or a brew in a relaxed atmosphere.
One of the shining lights in the town of Stockport, they sell a damn fine cup of coffee (and I'm assured the tea is very good too).
Always worth a visit for a drink and peruse of all the latest cycle mags
Delicious 'home-cooked' food, and the best coffee to be found in Stockport city centre. A little out of the way, but well worth the short walk through Stockport's historic streets.
