Bunga Raya - Stockport - Photo album

The food is a must try, it's really-really good and the waitress was very kind as well, as friendly as the prices. They don't accept card though, so make sure you have cash with you.
Best food in stockport by a landslide. Service is brilliant and it's cheap 6 starters and 6 mains and 11 drinks for £110.
Bunga raya is a friendly family run restaurant. Although the menu is limited( chicken, duck, seafood & vegetables), nevertheless the food is tasty. However, its cheap as chips and a starter, main and 3 bottles of singha beer( the larger 500ml bottles) came to just over £20.
First time visiting tonight with family and food was delicious. All freshly made to order and tasted amazing. Special mention to the Duck dishes on the set menu, the prawn fritters and chicken dumplings. All dishes perfect and would eat ALL of them again! Thank you ❤ 😊
Run by a delightful couple who do all the delicious cooking and serving. Meals are not massive but they concentrate on the lovely flavours of Malaysia cooking. Definitely recommend this small but delicious restaurant.....
Wow an amazing, authentic Malaysian restaurant. I have spent a lot of time in Penang, and the food here is just like being over there. Great staff and very reasonable.
Ordered a collection , amazing food so tasty , and lovely staff 10/10 would have again
The people are too friendly i feel bad about myself. The food is great, got that true malaysian/indonesian taste, reasonable priced as well !
Everyone is so nice. The Char Kuey Tiau with prawn is sooo good. I went to malaysian restaurant in London but this is better
Deceptively good. You would never guess from the decor just how nice the food was going to be. Home cooked Malaysian food. Super friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Would go again. Update: been several times since my first review. It has been consistently five stars every time.
My wife loved it, I liked it. Starters were very good. Her main was also very good, my main was good. Service was well enough, but I had to ask for a knife to eat spring rolls: Not easy to eat them without knife. The 2 spring roles (starter) were the best I ever had.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant, value for money is incredible and the staff are always lovely and attentive. The food is delicious and cooked on a very personal level.
A hidden little gem. No fancy frills but simple good food and good service from the owner who looks after everyone. Excellent value for money and although drinks are only bottles they do not over charge for them. Food was excellent, very tasty and not overly spicy. We will return soon
Not a lot to choose from {not a bad thing} but what they do make is very nice indeed
Went to celebrate our sons 15th Birthday on Sunday night. We've been wanting to go for ages but can never get a table. What a lovely place, so friendly the lady serving us was so kind She had put balloons on the chair for our son. The food was delicious and the service fabulous. Asked for a bottle o
Great food, service and it excellent value. We go regularly and have never had a bad meal. Malasian food is amazing.
Booked a table on the off chance on a quiet Sunday night after reading the reviews on here. Glad I did. Good value, great service & superb food, will definitely be going back again.
I have been here twice now and had different meals each time, the food is very tasty and authentic. The service is excellent! The only reason for the four stars is the menu is a little limited!
I have been going here for years it’s Malaysian home cooking, my favourite dish is the Laksa a spicy noodle soup with prawn and chicken (up in my top 5 favourite foods), always have a big bottle of Singha love to have tofu starter and dumplings, I can’t speak highly enough of the family who run the
