Third time I’ve eaten here . Thoroughly consistent with great food fresh and tasty waiting staff very attentive and friendly .. a little late with desert menu also the hazelnut ganache bomb was disappointing as I’d presumed it was a hot pudding not ice cream inside a choc shell .thumbs up on the presentation of food �
Went for food tonight with my partner, must say the refurb is excellent!! I went to the ladies early on and noticed vomit on the toilet. It Was reported to the bar staff who corrected and cleaned it up right away! The sevice given by the bar staff whilst waiting for our table was excellent, which carried on straight through to a lovely lady called Joanne who waited on us, she explained the menu to us and explained our options brilliantly, she was incredibly atttentive. Ordered the butchers block for us to share and I couldn't have been more impressed with the quality and the whole look of the dish!! Needless to say it WAS as good as it looked! Some would say it was expensive, I would say it was more than worth the money!! Cocktails were also very good � thankyou �
We had booked in for our parents 40th wedding anniversary on Saturday28th April. The service was amazing we had a lovely waiter called Dan nothing was too much trouble he went the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome and relaxed. The food was beautiful specially the lobster mac and cheese. Ricky and his team of chefs did amazing. At the end of our meal the meal the cake was brought out we had brought. The dessert chef sent a beautiful plate out that was all personalised with ice cream and custard on. The parents loved it made them feel extra special. Thank you very much we shall be returning soon.
Best steak in Stockport by far! Never fails to disappoint. Clean plates every time.. it’s the closest thing to LongHorn in USA if you’ve ever had the pleasure. Deffo worth a visit thank goodness we have a M&C locally. Will be visiting this restaurant regularly on special occasions!

Loved the refurbishment place looks lovely. Was very quiet when we called in for lunch but excellent service, food was lovely and staff were nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Only thing is the food isn’t cheap but you get what you pay for and will definitely be eating here again .
Surprisingly excellent! Perfect steak, lobster, cocktails and wine. Topped off by a most jolly waitress called Joanne. Nothing not to like. Steak houses have come a looooong way since the 1960s.
First visit since it changed from a Toby Carvery. Cannot fault the service and the food was excellent, one of the best fillet steaks I have ever had and Amy loved her Sea Bass. Will definitely come back.
Visited here tonight for the time visit and definitely won’t be our last. Booked on line which was so simple and table was ready when we arrived. The food was perfect, great service from Denise and such value for money. Best steak ever!
Visited here for Sunday lunch before a friend went travelling. Typical steak house with all the usual on offer. Can't fault the quality and the set menu is really good vaule for money. Only down side place is a very large size and sit us in area where we where only people so atmosphere lacked a little. I feel the hype of Miller and Caterter has definitely settled down now and for the money is a little overated compared to other steak options around. However still a nice good place to visit once in a while.
My partner and me just recently moved to Stockport so we decided to look around and find a nice place for dinner. I’m not a massive steak fan to be fair, my partner is, but I thought I will give it a try as the menu looked really promising. I’m so glad that I did we both enjoyed our meal it was 10/10. Becky looked after us, she is a very attentive, knowledgeable waitress you are very lucky if you are served by her.
Family of four served by Denise who was excellent: Perfect customer service, really impressive. The steak was delicious and enjoyed by all. Highly recommend the butcher's block! We stayed overnight and found the room spacious and very clean. Great location for Manchester Airport. 1 star lost in food for the breakfast which was a little below par for the price but overall very impressed.

Incredible meal and excellent service. Denise was absolutely wonderful and we couldn’t have asked for more! Nothing was too much. The steak was incredible as always, like slicing through butter. Denise made the entire meal an absolute delight, she was so friendly and welcoming. An absolute star!

Adam was the best server we’ve ever had. So genuine and friendly and willing to accommodate to any needs. If you get Adam as a server here you’re very lucky
Went during the lunch time special and was really nice and deffo worth the money. Friendly staff, building was nice but for a high end steak restaurant could do with a bit of doing up inside. Will go again when the lunch time offer is on. Starters .... calamari was very nice and mushrooms were very very good. Mains... steak was very nice but asked for medium rare and came ad medium not an issue as I'm happy with both but would expect a steak restaurant to cook a steak as ordered. Fries were good and the onion bread was really good

We normally go to the one in Manchester city centre off King Street but didn't want all the hassle of driving to Manchester from Stockport.
So happy that we discovered this one.
It's actually much better than the city centre one and instantly became our preferred place.
I'd say it's actually better than Gaucho grill in every aspect.
The staff are really friendly and have a lot of knowledge when choosing items.
Our steaks were cooked to perfection and I would definitely recommend the beef dripping sauce.
Definitely worth 5 stars.

Second only to the Manchester City centre branch and way better in all aspects to Ashtons branch. The waiter was excellent, recommending our cheaper option main steak, which was delicious. The food all round was gorgeous and served piping hot throughout. Everything was served as ordered with no mistakes and everyone was served what they ordered without being asked if it was theirs.
The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Highly recommended.
