Lovely place food is amazing my best place for a carvery great quality food and atmosphere
My husband & I went for Sunday lunch yesterday. Carvery salad platter was excellent value for money. Great choice of nicely cooked meats, lots of fresh salad. All staff so friendly very helpful. Nice atmosphere. Well done to all, thanks
Went two nights running and the food is top draw. Would definitely recommend this place and well worth the extra money
On Wednesday May second my grandson was eighteen we had a meal for the family food was very good and the service was to. I have been comming to The Puss In Boots for many years and never had a complaint and the alterations are superb

It was a family funeral and I feel we was well cared for and the staff were on the ball and the food was gorgeous and of top quality. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

A perfect spot on a sunny day with friends and family. If you are in the area, do walk to the spot, as the road that takes you there is quite pleasant.
Inside must be nice as it was kind of full when we arrived just after 12pm on a Sunday, but outdoor seating area was super nice too.
Vegan burger was delicious and my friend who had fish and chips said it was amazing.
Carvery always exceptional. Pizza base on the thick side for a wood fired pizza. One order came very quickly, and another took far too long.
We visited for the first time today.
Lovely pub on the outside and the inside.
Plenty of parking and seating inside and outside.
Dog friendly with a cute barrel style water station.
Food was excellent and arrived promptly.
Service was the best we have received in a very long time which has prompted my review. We were served by Marc who was lovely, friendly and polite. Thank you Marc for making our visit a lovely one. You are a credit to the Almond Pubs family :)
Great carvery, good atmosphere,you can seat in the garden or inside.
Although weather outside was not good, pub was thriving! Lots of people enjoying convivial company with delicious meals and Dizzy Blonde! Lunch time carvery was very nice also lamb with mashed potatoes and brocolli was excellent! Blueberry + banana waffle with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce completed a lovely birthday lunch.

Best service I've ever had. The manager and staff were very nice. Very welcoming. Frequently checking on us to see how we are doing. Food and atmosphere also great too. Would come again!!!
We had a really good carvery on a Saturday! Great selection of meats and a big choice of veg, gravy and sauces too.
Service was also really good, with our waiter being really friendly and attentive.
Will definitely be back.

Staff were lovely, friendly and quick with service. Had the carvery, was fresh and a lot of options for veg and potatoes. Had the char Sui pork and gammon on mine, slightly controversial but totally worth it!! Will be coming again!!
We went for dinner around 4pm. Nice atmosphere, really good food. I loved the lasagne and the fish and chips were nice. Most prices were pretty good but I skipped a cocktail, £8.00 was a bit too steep for us.
Food was lovely, especially the Sunday Roast. Staff were really friendly. Will definitely go back again

Lovely local pub with friendly and accommodating staff. Serves a range of beers including from the local brewery. Been numerous occasions for both food and drinks and never been let down. Recently enjoyed the quiz on a Thursday and it had a great atmosphere.
Very welcoming experience . Taken to a table straight away . Fast efficient service. Waiting staff helpful and willing to answer any concerns . Food very good. Chicken tikka sandwich was delicious . Will be returning in the not too distant future .

The welcome and service was top notch. I sat in the glass covered area, and the member of staff couldn't have been more attentive. I don't know her name, but I complemented her on how professional and how friendly she was. She even made a young girl happy because she got an extra high chair for her and her doll so they have a high chair together and enjoy their lunch.
I was very dissapointed with the carvery. The choices were Beef, Turkey or Gammon. I would usually choose beef, but this one still had a heartbeat. Even the server admitted that it was very rare. I asked if I could have a slice from the uncut side hoping that this would be a bit more cooked, but she said that she was unable to slice the other side of the meat as it would "dry out the piece very quickly". In future I will check the food on the carvery before I decide to have it. On the plus side, the serving staff at the table were absolutely faultless. Marc was so friendly and professional. He made up for my disappointment at the carvery.
