I held my 40th party here and highly recommend this venue. The staff were brilliant and couldn’t do any more for me and the buffet food was amazing. It’s a perfect intimate venue to celebrate and all guests were very impressed indeed by this hidden gem. Thank you so much Robinsons Brewery visitors centre!!

Very informative tour yesterday. This was my husbands choice of day out for his birthday, not really my cup of tea but I actually enjoyed it. The chap who did the tour made it very interesting and was really lovely. It was good at the end that I could take a bottle of their beer home for my husband as I’m not really a beer drinker. Would recommend it for an afternoon out. We didn’t eat, but the food looked amazing. 🙂

Just had a private tour of the brewery with Bernise, such a friendly knowledgeable lady who also keeps a cracking pint, lucky for us we came the last Friday in the month when there's live music & a food festival in the town, can highly recommend & we'll definitely be back again... Thanks again Bernise & Stuart for an amazing experience

Took my partner there for his birthday, as he loves beer. We took the Gold package. £24.99 each, inc tour, 6 beer tokens= two flights of beer or two pints of beer. The Tour took over 90mins, Ray our guide was brilliant, full of fascinating information. The beer tasted good once we knew how it was made. We booked lunch in the popular restaurant too. Excellent food and equally excellent service from the pleasant staff. What a wonderful experience.

I came on this tour with my husband for my birthday. The staff were so friendly and our tour guide (Del I think) was very knowledgeable. It was a good time of year to go as even though it was cold outside it was nice and warm in the brewery. At the end of the 1 hour 15 mins tour we had a lovely pint and some really nice food. If planning on eating I would recommend booking. We managed to get the only free table.

Just got back from a very informative and interesting tour, Gary was humorous and full of facts. The site is very open and allows visitors to see the secrets of brewing in Stockport. Get on the tour before it closes and moves to Bredbury, well worth the beer tokens at the end.

Enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. Tour guide Gary certainly knows his stuff which he delivers in an easy going and entertaining manner. Meeting Robinsons' pair of shire horses after the tour had finished was a bonus.

Had a great afternoon out at the brewery tour, including staying for a meal afterwards. Semi downside.. and it seems rare.. but before the tour your informed walking around here warm so hang up your coat. My girlfriend's coat was then taken, completely by mistake as there were two of the same coat, so it was an honest mistake. (She got it back a few days later) but still.. just leaving my feedback.

Fantastic experience on the tour, very informative and appropriate for all. Gary was a great tour guide, the whole thing was really relaxed. Great to see the shire horses too which we weren't expecting. Only wished Gary could have joined us for a pint at the end!

Did our tour Saturday morning, Gary the tour guide was brilliant and really entertaining, right balance of humour and information, the brewery has the historical and brand new brewing equipment which makes it stand out as a great tour, we finished off in the Arden Arms to sample some of the drinks we heard about. Sad to hear the Unicorn Brewery is moving to new premises and from April next year these tours will not continue.

Amazing tour, worth every penny and a great rainy day activity with friends! We booked a 3.30pm tour on a Saturday, and although it took a little longer than expected (about an hour and a half) it was a really enjoyable experience. The tour guide, Barry, was engaging and funny - he clearly loved his job and that enthusiasm rubbed off on everyone else. Great insights into brewing past and present, with lots of useful facts and fun stories.

We had a private party here. The venue was fantastic for the amount of guests we had (60-70). The team were great before and during the event in ensuring we had everything we needed (mics/projectors/acoustics etc). The buffet was exceptional with even the fussiest eaters in the party pleased with the variety on offer. A good selection of well filled sandwiches, and varied hot accompaniments - the halloumi proved very popular. We liked that there was space for people to eat at a formal table if they so wished. Some of the attendees went on the brewery tour beforehand. One lifelong ale fan commented how detailed and informative the tour was (and he'd been on a few!). The tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable in her field and very engaging at the same time. I would certainly use this venue again in the future.

Did the brewery tour Saturday 8th August 2015 it was my birthday and the wife booked this as a little surprise, the tour of the brewery was first class, was taken around the brewery by Graham the tour guide. He was so good, a wealth of information regarding this brewery, the brewery was brilliant the place is so clean and then on to the visitors centre's pub. I've tried some ale's over the years and can honestly say I tried some of the best tasting beers I've ever had here at the brewery. Well done Robinsons.
