Came here for a belated Mother's Day meal from my son, I can honestly say the food was excellent, we all chose different starters, garlic bread with cheese, crab and salmon fish cakes and sticky chicken with rice noodles, for our mains we chose fillet steak, braised beef and oven baked cod.... Absolutely beautiful, would definitely recommend the food from here, but what made the evening for us was our server Clare, 1st class service by her, knowledgeable about the menu, lovely and attentive overall just perfect, she is an absolute credit to your team. Thank you Clare for making our evening even more perfect. If you haven't been here for food it is a defo must try. We will be back xx Well done xx

I visited for the evening menu. Lovely friendly atmosphere, there were families and couples and friend groups in. A real..'everyman' kind of place. I had the fish and chips and it was absolutely delicious and well presented. The fish was very white and had a crispy batter, chips were chunky, definitely no soggy chips here...and the mushy peas were good too. Tasted like I'd been to a really good chippy. Definitely getting the large portion next time.

Visited for the soft launch, menu was limited but was told it will be back to full shortly. The staff are very welcoming and the decor is fresh and tasteful. Chairs are comfortable as well. The food was amazing, a Caesar salad to start followed by the Tandoori chicken skewer. Very tasty and succulent, balance of flavours perfect and just the right portion size. I tried the fries, which were seasoned just right. Deserts again hit the spot! This is definitely worth a visit.
Family meal for 12. Even though the restaurant was busy we received a warm greeting. Excellent friendly service. Food as ordered, piping hot and delicious for everyone in our party. Great value, generous servings. Plenty of choice on starters mains and desserts. Something for everyone inc veg and vegans and people with allergies. Would highly recommend.

Had a lovely meal with friends celebrating a birthday, the food was absolutely wonderful. I had the Salt & Pepper Crispy Wings to start with followed by the Rump Steak as my main which was spot on the chips were just the best. Dessert was the Manchester Tart with pouring cream a real delight. We booked late on the day and Paul was great managed to get us a table and was very welcoming throughout the evening. Massive thank you to Lily who was our waitress for the evening as she was really lovely, we'll definately visit again.

We came in today to celebrate our wedding after being let down by our original meal venue and we couldn't have been happier. Not only was the food absolutely gorgeous, (the 8oz steak burger went down and treat with everyone) the staff were fantastic and nothing seemed to much trouble. Thank-you

Food was lovely, came with a table of 10 and all the food came out at the same time! Staff was friendly and also the background music was great (shout out to the pop punk fan hahaha)
We booked a table for 18 people for fathers day. The communication beforehand was brilliant, we pre ordered all our food and confirmed our table. We had the downstairs room which was perfect for a large group, this also included a bar which was fantastic as we didn't have to go upstairs. All the food came out together, hot and delicious. There was nothing left on our plates! Also plenty of choice for the vegetarians and allergens are made very clear on the menu.
The young girl looking after us was so friendly and couldn't do enough for us, she really did make our afternoon perfect.
Everyone was very happy, the service, food, drinks and cost were all spot on. We will be back very soon!
Myself ,my daughter and my grandsons came on Sunday. We were all impressed with the food and the amount of it you got on your plate. All enjoyed it and the service was great . Would highly recommend this place. Lastly we booked ahead as I think it's quite a popular place on a Sunday.
Went in on the off chance. What a pub!!!! Wast on the menu but we both just fancied a chip butty. I can honestly say it is the best one I've ever had. A couple sat next to us were impressed and the husband / male partner ( politically correctness) ordered one. And only charged £4.50 each. Wonderful service compliments to the chef
