Enjoyed a fantastic 1 night stay here with an evening meal.
The welcome, service and room were just what we needed. Landlord Ben is a true gent and a fun guy, chatted to locals who were in for their Friday night drink and all were lovely and welcoming. The pub is an atmospheric 16c gem.

Went for Sunday lunch and very pleased with quality of roast pork served with plenty of veg and yorkshire pud the size of a football almost. Very friendly and helpful staff and to top it all off some lovely local beer. What more do you want of a village pub!! Great

Taken here for Sunday lunch by friends from Cotleigh and Honiton and it was gorgeous. The building itself is full of character. The food was beautiful in look and taste (wish I'd taken photos) we even had dessert !! The staff were all great and the service was fab.... well done to all 😊

This is a lovely place. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and cheerful. The landlord was clearly on good terms with them and congratulated them for the work they did.
The building itself is a traditional pub rescued by the villagers who clearly appreciate what it brings to the community.

Lovely little pub in Honiton, friendly staff, nice outside (as well as inside) eating area. The food wasn't bad but the steak was cut unevenly so one side was cooked perfectly and the other side was raw. a bit mean on the chips also for a mans portion.
