My wife and I popped in for a spot of lunch, the service and food was in our opinion absolutely delicious and of the highest standard. And the house wine was also delicious. What's more, the bill was very reasonable for the high standard of food and service. Highly recommended

Enjoyed a really tasty dinner here in the Garden Restaurant. Great food chosen from a small but varied menu. Chief is excellent. They also have a separate lunch menu and BBQ during the summer. Worth a visit if you are in Stockbridge.

Simply came with a friend for a coffee. We sat in the garden on a sunny morning: very quiet and relaxed. The coffee took ages to arrive so the server chased it up, then she apologised and said there would be no charge: very fair. We later ordered a second coffee that came promptly. Overall, good coffee served in pleasant surroundings.

Was lucky enough to share a delicious afternoon tea with my family at this hotel. The tea was first class, cakes fabulous and the staff absolutely lovely- very friendly and professional...just the right amount of attention!! The garden where we ate is a perfect venue- can imagine a beautiful intimate wedding or party there!! Would definitely recommend !!!

Love this place, very friendly and attentive staff. Gorgeous hotel and beautifully decorated. Only had a coffee, cake and shared some chips in the garden with our family, great setting, very relaxed, lovely village. Would definitely come back.

Brilliant stay, amazing food albeit costly, our room was quite small but a very comfortable bed and very clean. Barbara was an amazing host.

Beautiful hotel and very easy to locate. Booked via a third party and was greeted with a complimentary drink upon arrival. The room itself was spacious, light and well stocked with amenities. The area the hotel is located in is quite quiet and not much to do around but was great for a one night stay. The hotel food was lovely (had a burger and Chips) albeit costly. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Shared a lovely afternoon lunch with a friend here recently. The sandwiches are large and packed with filling. My salad was delicious. The decor in the bar is vibrantly fascinating with interesting pictures. The service was good and I'll definitely return when I'm next in Stockbridge.

I am here with my best friend for our mother's day getaway for one night , and we were blown away, very clean, beautiful šŸ˜ quiet, elegant garden room with a beautiful front view, where you can sit to have a cup of coffee or to just relax, there is coffee machine, hairdryer, water at each bed side, bathrooms are so clean and beautiful šŸ˜€ with good food, the best hotel, I highly recommend. Very welcoming and friendly staff at the restaurant and reception šŸ˜ we will definitely come back again and again

We had the most fantastic Valentine's dinner here a couple of weeks ago - probably the best crab linguine ever, and the steak was melt-in-the-mouth delicious! The hotel decor is beautiful, with warm and vibrant colours and a neat little bar perfect for pre-dinner drinks. We were looked after by lovely attentive hotel staff, which made our visit extra special; thank you, and we'll be back!

Fantastic. Absolutely loved staying there. I used to take my children to Stockbridge when they were little (theyā€™re approaching 30 now) to feed the fish in the river Test that passes across the village. Itā€™s a beautiful place. My wife and I stayed there some years ago, before it was re-acquired and updated. Even then, we knew it had potential to be fabulous - if only someone or some group of investors could buy it and turn it around. This weekend, planning a trip to Winchester, we initially booked a hotel in the city, but then it occurred to me to check out The Grosvenor. The website looked fantastic, but we are very wary of being let down by fabulous looking websites. In this case, it isnā€™t a let down. Itā€™s a beautiful place. Very tastefully updated with real attention to detail. Someone with excellent taste did the interior design. The bar, lounge and restaurant are lovely places to be. The patio at the rear is very, very nicely done. It must be beautiful in the summer. The rooms in the annexe are lovely. They even have a large car park at the rear of the hotel! Try parking at the Hotel du Vin in Winchesterā€¦ Food and drink, often the point of failure for us at hostelries, was excellent. We had a very good dinner there. Staff were all excellent too. There were a couple of things I could moan about but Iā€™m not going to. It was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay there and we will most definitely be going back there.

Food good but not amazing - quite disappointing for such a high price. Crab croquettes were very tasty! Burger was really good, steak was average, tiramisu was a big no no. Restaurant is way too pricey.
