Popped into here after a paddle in the nearby stream. We had simply a large iced drink, and tried their desserts. Wow! The sticky toffee pudding was perfection - moist, generous, with all the right flavours!
The other deserts looked fantastic too - easily the quality from a fine dining restaurant!
The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the interior seemed spacious and clean. We sat on the pub benches at the front. We are tempted to return just to try their Roasts...
This was our second stay at The Peat Spade and we had the same great experience. The room was tastefully decorated, super comfy beds. Breakfast was delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend The Peat Spade for a relaxing holiday weekend.
Stayed here for one night for a wedding weekend. Cracking place. Great service and accommodation. Generally an all round fab place. Would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was Bob on!

We came for dinner and drinks which was excellent (can't comment on the rooms). Food was of a very high quality and the team were friendly; will definitely be back.
We enjoyed a good Sunday lunch here but at the price it is it needed to be. Food & service are good, the prices are "testing".
I suppose the question is whether it represents good value for money or not....the answer is "maybe" (not helped by the addition of an effectively mandatory 12.5% service charge).
Had a lovely stay here in the Mayfly room with our dog. Would recommend as a base for Hampshire as its close to lots of walks and has a nice high street. Service was very attentive and friendly!
Pub wasn’t great value - £35 for a steak with additional fees for sides and sauces.
Lovely country pub in a really nice location. Food was great too. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.
Fab inn, the room was well designed and had everything you need and a bit more. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. Lovely quiet and beautiful location, I heard a cuckoo through my bathroom window this morning! Will definitely be back. Also, Nala the dog is great
Very good pub located in a lovely place, it is perfect to have a nice meal and to walk around to explore the countryside. The building is well maintained, the staff very polite and the food very good. I have tried the burger, the meat was very tasty. They accept only card payments
More Gastro than pub. Great food and friendly service. Would recommend you book a table, even very busy on a Monday night.
