Food was excellent, we all loved the choices on the menu, 1st time we have ate here in years, but we are definitely planning to return, good vegetarian options as well. The meat eaters enjoyed theirs too :)

Really nice place, with good food. Good service. We enjoyed stay in the outside garden under the pergola with 14 friends. The restaurant seems to be well organised and the food is really good. Another fantastic meal in the Bear. I really can't fault this place which just seems to get better every time we eat there. Watch out the hoop because I think this is now the best place to go out in Stock as it has a far better atmosphere and the food and service are without fault.

Just swung in as staying in Stock for a wedding. Absolutely lovely pub with gorgeous house red wine. Tried the whitebait and chips as we weren't that hungry. Really tasty, especially the tartare sauce which was rich, thick and crunchy and utterly delicious. Really good bar staff also.
