This place is delicious, being my 2nd favourite chippy in Stirling, fair prices and good management. The quality of your food may be reliant at what time you go at but 89% of time I have been I've had a good experience.
The management has had an improvement over the last through years, and the chips have had a large improvement.
The location isn't ideal but I don't mind the trek it takes me to get there. Speaking of long periods of time, the wait to get your food can be longer than counting to graham's number but on the other hand you can just walk in and walk out with no hassle. Yet again likely depends on time you go, day you go.
Big return to form with new management. I felt the portions were getting a bit stingy for a while but tonight we had fish suppers and they were excellent. 2 pieces of fish and fresh chips. What's not to like. Recommended.
Really tasty and fresh fish. The people working there were really kind- I think they were about to close but they started the fried back up for me! Great place to stop on your way to the castle.
Great takeaway, the chef is always proud of his food and you can see why. Always tasty and good value for money, in the evening there is usually plenty of space to park outside.
Been meaning to leave a review for this place for while. Excellent food and service when I was in. But it was the cleanliness of the place that moved this from 4 to 5 stars! Well done folks.
Great little chip shop located in Central Stirling, always had a good reputation for being consistent with there food, never had a bad meal from the chip shop or from a delivery on a busy Saturday night when alot of peoples standards start to fail, they don't, all round good place, recommend to anyone that likes a good chip shop
Best special fish super in town. We have moved away from town now so wont visit much. Definitely a thumbs up.
Tasty! Admittedly not been here for for a long time however will be frequenting the Golden bird in the future.

Very Good Food. You could do Vegetable Pakara food aswell as Chicken. Chip could be better than what they're?.
