Without a doubt the best coffee shop in Stirling, cakes are amazing and the staff are awesome. Quesadilla, pizza and groundhouse (hot) dog are to die for. The atmosphere is second to none and the Manager Stuart is always happy to see you whatever the time of day. Tina is worth her weight in gold and her personal touch is something special. More than happy to make this the only coffee shop I shall ever use in stirling. One word........outstanding!
A regular here. I chose the vegan brownie over the normal brownie (I'm not vegan) as it looked gooey and amazing. It did not disappoint!
Cozy, friendly, and good coffee, interesting artwork on the walls, free wifi. If this were in my hometown it would be my regular cafe.

Popped in here by chance while I waited for the kilt shop to open. So glad I did, the sausage and scrambled egg roll with brown sauce was awesome! Coffee was lovely too, staff were friendly and the music was pretty good too (Zutons beats any of that nonsense Jazz that other coffee shops play).
It was a wee bit chilly inside but it was particularly cold outside and I had no phone signal, but the free wifi made up for that. Totally worth the pit stop and I'll definitely be back.

I loved it! Staff were awsome, welcoming and served a good coffee. Their "Meal for a £5er" is a great offer. We had the soup and it was delicious!!! Will definately go back there!!!!
I've had 3 experiences if poor customer service and 2 of great service this morning already. You know it takes more effort giving poor service than it does good.
Sitting in this coffee house listening to the staff having a laugh and being very polite to customers resulting in the customers joining in the fun and the atmosphere is superb. Im thinking on asking if they sell this enthusiasm in a bottle. If so is buy a few and give it to the 3 other places I've been to today.

Nice staff,good coffee, kids liked their toasties. We were in on a Sunday and the live acoustic music was pleasant.
Just had the spicy lentil soup absolutely delicious - compliments to the chef! Staff also very friendly
Went in here for a quick coffee and rest after doing the castle and Holy Rude tours , a flat white and dirty chai later we could relax in the comfortable sofas at the window , service was slow and although my coffee was great the gf thought her latte was too thin ,

I was in Stirling yesterday to meet my son for coffee at your establishment. I arrived early and due to weather came in alone, and the minute I came into the cafe I felt completely at home. My son was later arriving and when he did I had the hummous plate which was totally amazing. Thank you staff for making an anxious mum feel totally at home. My son and I had a lovely experience in your establishment. Definitely recommend it. Xx
We love The Ground House, it has a chilled and friendly atmosphere, thanks to Stuart and his always cheery staff. The food is consistently good, an ample, unpretentious menu served with stylish simplicity. Huge choice of coffees, teas, smoothies and cakes. Very accommodating staff, great music, nice place to kick back and relax and even do a spot of ghost watching.
I have been drinking coffee around Scotland for almost 5 weeks. Today’s coffee at The Ground House was the best I have had. Added to that I had a toasted bagel with cream cheese and it was toasted perfectly and I was given a side dish of cream cheese so I could spread it on the bagel myself. It wasn’t some skinny little skip to spread, it was a full dish - excellent! If I was staying in Stirling any longer, I would be a very frequent visitor.
Lots of Dairy free options, they serve a great sweet Chai with a lovely presentation. Incredibly friendly service. Stewart was outstanding, if you are in Stirling you need to visit this coffee shop, they serve lunch as well, give it a try!!

This is a great place to have a light snack or even something more substantial!
The food is freshly made & heavenly to eat! The serving portions are generous and I'd advise customers to take their time to savour every last morsel.
The hot drinks are on a level of their own ... superb!
The staff are very welcoming and equally polite, courteous and helpful. Service is with a smile!
The interior decoration is welcoming with pictures & local artists' paintings adorning the walls
I thoroughly recommend this eatery to anyone whose enjoys really good food at at prices that won't break the budget!

Back five years later, still a brilliant place. Top notch coffee, super(!) generous soup and bread, friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended. Great value as the icing on the cake.

Very friendly and polite staff. Quirky cafe for coffee, light bites and substantial plates of food. All freshly prepared, so they take a bit of time. Definitely be back.
