Myself and two friends Stayed here in December 2016, The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, , the young woman bar tender was exceptional at her job , It is a young staff but they have been trained well the new look to the place is lovely, our room was really comfortable. I myself was in the hospitality for twenty five years, learnt my trade at Gleneagles which was then owned by British Rail.
I was sorry to read a review of only one star today , so had to put my own review in.
A fantastic night was had by all. I booked a table for 7 as a small wedding celebration with family on sat 7th jan after getting married abroad. The staff made it extra special with their excellent service. The meal was brilliant with no complaints whatsoever. My husband had booked an overnight stay as a suprise and the room and breakfast was first class. We will definately return soon 🖒

Visiting and will def go back x was beautiful hotel although a little tlc in places needed x the food and especially the staff where outstanding every person we interacted with was so helpful and this is what makes this place 5 star xxx
Had a lovely meal staff very friendly and polite. Only thing with a wedding being on few dishes on menu were not available to us which was disappointing
Lunch with friends :) LOVED it! all the staff made a special day extra special by being attentive, (with out being pushy), helpful, couldn't do enough for us, smart and most of all seemed happy in their work. Food was perfect, cocktails yummy 😋 Thank you - will definitely be back and will definitely recommend to my family & friends.
Only had a meal in The Grill Room great food great service friendly staff even though they were very busy
My friend and I went for afternoon tea which is very good value for money. Love the atmosphere and our waitress was very nice. Will definitely go back, the raspberry mock cocktail was amazing, can't wait to try the alcoholic version when I don't have the car x
Had a fab night at a family wedding and then Hogmanay ball. Staff were so cheerful and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Had simply the best meal, and experience, out with husband for celebratory meal. Amazing service, and fabulous food. Dining chairs are really comfy .. . had table for whole evening and no pressure to move after meal completed.
Really could not fault the venue, or all aspects of the hotel. Looking forward to another visit soon,
2nd time staying here and booked up for a Christmas party night. This is now one of my favourite hotels. Firstly, they upgraded us to the room we had for our anniversary a couple of months back, which is cracking. Huge comfy bed, big LCD on the wall and a cracking well appointed bathroom, all very tastefully done. The staff are a credit to the hotel. So friendly and helpful and can't do enough for you!! The carvery meal was brilliant and the band in the hall were brilliant. Great musicians and the singer was fantastic. Breakfast in the morning was top notch too. Really can't find fault at all. We invited friends this time and they were impressed too. Keep up the good work guys, you've got something special there �
My friends and I have come here several times since it's opening and we love it! The staff are fun, fabulous and always accommodating, great food, drinks and ambience. What more could you want? :)

Fills the void that Stirling was lacking, been quite a few times for dinner and cocktails! Really good night as always, staff are so friendly, the chateaubriand is always cooked to perfection... save room for dessert!
The Hotel Colessio is a jewel in the crown of Aurora Group. Wonderful rooms and amazing food. Each and every member of staff could not be more welcoming or helpful. Megan, Fiona, Chris and James are just a few of the staff who made a difference to our stay. However Mary, Duty Manager, went well above and beyond the call of duty. She is an amazing asset to the Hotel Colessio and I cannot sing her praises high enough. I was a returning guest and I will certainly return again to this fabulous hotel.
Stunning hotel we had a glamorous room with complimentary snacks. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back.
Arranged a birthday surprise at a festive party night (Early Starter Disco) & we all had an excellent night.
Food was delicious & the entertainment was great too!

Having been before just with my partner, we booked for his daughter's 21st. Staff were superb, even though our numbers kept changing and we had 2 vegans in our final party of 11, nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous food in sumptuous yet comfortable surroundings, can't fault it! Perfect x
