Mamma Mia - Stirling - Photo album

My husband and I visited Mamma Mia when visiting Stirling for our 4th anniversary. The food and service was outstanding and was one of the best meals out I have had. The wine was delicious too. The staff were so attentive and helpful. I could not recommend this place enough and I will be definitely
From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome. The staff was amazing and service was great. Everything we ordered was delicious. Sit upstairs it’s charming.
A delightful restaurant split over two floors in a historic building in the heart of Stirling's old town. The charming staff fitted us in on a very busy summer evening and served us with beautifully cooked pollo all caccitora and southern Italian pizza. We started with mussels in cream and saffron
Had a lovely birthday dinner at Mamma Mia! The Primitivo was wonderful and the food tasted just as good as it looks. We've tried to come here for years (always end up being in Stirling on a Monday 😂), but definitely won't wait long for a next visit!
The place was absolutely packed but we got the last table. We were told that we would have to be patient with the service. After two weeks in Scotland, it was some of the best service we received on our trip. The food came quickly and was absolutely fantastic. We are traveling with a couple of frien
The food was so fresh and delicious! however our server made us feel very out of place due to the attitude towards us when asking for requests such as add ons to our meals. Like i said the food was great and tasted very fresh however the vibe of the overall restaurant didn’t live up to the expectati
Some of the best pastas we have ever enjoyed! We had the seafood pasta and the house special Scottish beef ribs pasta. Fabulous friendly owners and staff. Great selection of wines from Puglia region where the owners originate. Tiramisu is always a fabulous finish! Ideal for a romantic dinner!
Could not fault the food. It was fantastic, nicely decorated too. But the service was lacking, felt very transactional like fast food. There was a younger girl with red hair who was great, but the rest of the team were cold and awkward, if it had been extremely busy I would have given them the ben
Lovely food… good value for money. Not exhaustive menu. My son asked for milk didn’t serve it! The additional tip as they add on service vanished with that American lass inability to serve milk it was silly but that’s kiss for ya
Excellent gluten free food. My pizza was huge, well cooked and very tasty. Definitely recommended! The staff were lovely and friendly and spoke English which was great for us!
Ordered starter of mussels to share and risotto main. Classic Italian food and the mussels were fantastic. Great service too and the decor of the restaurant made us feel like we were in Italy as it was a nice day. Loved the meal
This restaurant has 2 floor. The tables were kept in distance from the other tables. We ordered pizzas and starters. Small quantity of starters, cannot be shared. Pizza were reasonable size. The restaurant has toilets. Road side parking.
Fantastic meal with great service last night. Proper Italian pizzas! Wish they delivered as would be regular for us! On a separate note - There was an extremely rude older couple who came in after us while we were waiting to be seated. They barged in front of us and got seated first. Can’t believe t
Definitely must be if you love Italian food. All meals made from high quality ingredients. Number of awards are also not a coincidence. You must check it’s out!
A very small, very quirky little restaurant in an odd shaped quirky building. We booked a table and were seated very quickly. The staff were fantastic, the guy who was waiting on us was brilliant, he spoke in Italian, French, English and Scottish. When we asked for a little extra parmesan he ladled
One of the best, if not the best restaurants in Stirling! You wonder if you left Scotland for Southern Italy at some point! Excellent mussels, a variety of Italian starters, delicious gnocchi, very much recommend the house pasta specialty, great tiramisu, and a good selection of wine and drinks. Ca
We arrived at this restaurant by chance, after visiting Stirling Castle on a rainy day. We didn't have any expectations, but to our surprise, it was the best spaghetti carborana we have ever eated. This happened 6 years ago, and we still remember this restaurant and its food. It's clear that when we
