Visited today for the first time and will definitely return. Lovely food especially the soup, together with excellent friendly service. Really nice little establishment. Thank you.

Just had the Gluten Free Seeded Loaf and for me, it's the best-tasting loaf of bread I've had since I found out I was wheat intolerant. Looks like normal bread, inside and out, tastes like normal bread and I'm not sure it can be beaten. So well done Truffles you have made my day.

I love their Belgian buns. Huge, soft, melty icing, lemony flavour, and chunky fruits! Lovely!

The Steak and Kidney pies are the best I've had since the 1970's. Fantastic 😍

A really good find after a 5 mile walk across the downs. Friendly staff, good service and good value for money. Recommend the veggie breakfast and cream tea.

What a lovely café! We had 2 vegetarian mini breakfasts and they were delicious and extremely good value. The kids had a milkshake and a sausage roll and both were great. The staff were really lovely. We'll be back!

I have shopped here on at least two occasions since leaving Steyning Grammar school as a student between 1989-1991 On the first occasion, my offspring was ill and not wanting anything to eat as she had little or no appetite. (When I was ill as an infant & junior, my mother use to by me confectionery as I was not with an appetite, so I thought I would by cakes for offspring) When I arrived, I thought that they received me well with a welcoming smile and comment. I was unable to decide what to get as there selection was vast and it all looked delicious however I didn't know what my offspring would like so I decided to get a spread selection. I decided that I would like something too so I bought whole cakes, doughnuts and buns which I was told will cost a special rate. It was surprisingly economically priced and all delicious. It was a result as much was touched on my return after leaving them for offspring! I loved it! The second occasion was when I visited with my nephew. I bumped into an old school friend who invited me into his home for beverages. As my nephew was a minor, I decided that I couldn't leave him, but I was able to leave him in the shop with a bun and milkshake in the care of Truffles whilst we talked outside the shop. Please try them, they are exceedingly good!

What a lovely cafe, more importantly the very helpful lady who served us. Sat down for some lunch the lady had short red hair, very kind and polite woman. I hope your boss sees this .
