It's like stepping back in time. Beautiful surroundings , enchanting music and such wonderful food; recommend the Stilton ploughmans :o. Love this place feels like coming home as soon as you walk in the door. The staff are lovely and create a magical place to relax and find some peace out of your busy day.

Very pretty, quiet and shaded (or sunny if preferred) outside tables, very good value £5.25 for savoury afternoon tea (pot of tea, cheese scone, cream cheese, yummy chutney & grapes ) delightful staff, great service. Will definitely patronise again! A lovely location for lunch with Mum

We had a great time in Steyning, especially in the winding open-air corridor that leads to this great café. Cream teas all around!! The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and then the manager gave us step-by-step directions to the best views in the Downs. Ah, the English!!!

Got here 20 minutes before closing. So we both had cake and cappuccino. I had the lemon drizzle. Nice size slice and very very tasty. My cappuccino was perfect. The lady that served us was nice and jolly too. I did ask about the buildings history and she told me what she could. Shame I can only give it 5 stars. Great place . Will visit again

Delightful setting for this snug little café. Excellent coffee and amazing cakes, with generous slices at reasonable prices and the best cream scone we've had outside of Devon! Very busy for the over-worked staff running around, but we weren't in a hurry and was well worth the half-hour wait to get our cakes.

We popped over to this place yesterday afternoon at 4pm. There were a few customers but not many. The place is so cute and the staff very friendly. We just had tea and cake outside. The cake slice was massive and lovely. The whole town is beautiful and we will return many times.

Tea for two at The Cobblestone (first timers). We didn't eat but just had the tea and it was refreshing. Interesting place. Service was a little slow but do not let that put you off.
