My family friends and I had my father's funeral Celebration of life here today and it was marvellous. The staff were very accommodating and the buffet was plentiful and the best choice of selection of food for an amazing price. Really happy.. would recommend and use again. Thank you :-)

I had my Mums wake here yesterday, the pub was so warm and welcoming and the food was amazing , delicious hot and cold buffet for our family and friends, lots of hot tea and coffee and we spent a long time sharing happy memories of Mum and catching up with family that had travelled a long way. Sam the manager went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable, there was plenty of parking too!
Me and my family just had the most beautifulest Roast dinner was very hot and the veg was full off flavours will for sure be going back! Thank you to the kitchen staff
Been a few times before ( not been great) but it's so obvious the new management have made improvements. I was stunned tonight by the amazing hospitality and food. I highly recommend. I hope the new landlady has much earned success

We had our wedding renewals reception here on 1st July. Sam couldn't have been more lovely & helpful. We had the restaurant area just for our party, it was cordoned off & made to look beautiful, the tables were decorated with cloths & balloons. A member of staff was handing out glasses of prosecco as the guests wandered in and the buffet was top notch & plenty of it. Thank you Sam, you were ace & our day was just perfect xxx
We hired the back room for a couple of family occasions at no cost. Sam is very helpful. Arranged food ect. Food was very good

Christmas lunch with work colleagues and some very hot and tasty food served up. Friendly staff and cozy feel. Not sure the mobile phone connected to the speaker system was the best choice of DJ. Christmas songs with the odd interruption of message tone on offer.
My husband and I had fish and chips tonight, it was absolutely amazing, fresh fish home made batter and the food was piping hot , would definitely recommend it , also the management and staff are so friendly and welcoming, will definitely be going back soon xxx

Booked for a wake, but I'm sure they would cope as well with a christening or retirement party etc, extremely good selection in the buffet supplied, which included a hot drink, and they were happy to add drinks brought from the bar to the cost. Staff were very efficient and worked round us with out being noticed. The bar and seating areas were very smart, and the car park is a good size. The booking process was also very efficient and considerate
Lovely staff, food was great. We had the all day brunch, cooked to perfection and all piping hot. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
Beer was good, staff were good but food portion sizes on main meals was very poor. A few chips, a few scampy and a few peas. Not the most expensive of ingredients so I cannot see why portion sizes were not more generous, it would prevent me ordering food there again.
I recently held my sisters wake there and it was an excellent they cordoned of the top area for privacy we paid for 40 guests and the spread was delicious (even the vegan options )and there was plenty left over staff were excellent couldn’t do enough for us would highly recommend this venue
Went for Sunday lunch with family.
Staff were super helpful and friendly - my dad is disabled and needs to have a pureed diet. Even though they were only doing roasts on the menu for the day, they prepared a soup for him which was fantastic. Couldn’t be more helpful.
The roast was great - trimmings done with a twist, massive Yorkshire, and great mains.
Food was delicious but portion sizes where a little small

Very friendly, pub quiz on a Monday, bit pricey for a pint, otherwise would be 5 stars.
Pleasant experience we had a couple of drinks in the garden with friends. It wasn't busy but the carpark was for the amount of people there. The staff were friendly.
Regularly come to the pub for Karaoke with Leon. The staff are lovely, very friendly, bubbly and helpful. Great selection of alcohol. Looks great on the inside. Plenty of seating especially if you do not want to be near the speakers. Definitely would recommend.
Booked a buffet for a family party. Really impressed with the quality of food and the selection to suit a variety of tastes. Staff were friendly and service was prompt and discreet.
