Great 👍 would recommend and certainly will revisit due to good pricing, tika could be more spicy just tastes 100% sweet, my mixed grill was nice back soon £4 service charge not to bad If that creeps up I wouldn't return.
I love this restaurant. They go above and beyond. A small omission on my takeaway delivery was rectified within 15 mins. True service with a smile. Have been a customer for 40 years. Had my first curry here. Will always support these guys 😁

WOW beat curry house EVER!! Been having curry’s in Stevenage for years now as I’m sure everyone has who live in the area, but the Bombay have been just amazing for years now, recently I’ve been trying new curry’s around and just keep going back to The Bombay and can’t believe how they do it! Hot! Good sauce consistency, service is amazing and more importantly, the beer is on draft not a bottle!! Ohh and no after taste
Now I feel that makes the perfect curry,
All they have to do is decorate the venue and make it more luxurious and it’s set

I’ve never used any other Indian restaurant in Stevenage since moving here 8 years ago because I’ve never needed to. Struck lucky using The Bombay first.
Ingredients are always fresh, prices are good and their curries are superb. Never had a bad meal from them.

I had a take away from here and found my king prawn curry was so tasty, the Rupa tandoori indian take away at mobbsbury way shops has always been my favourite up until now two exceptional take aways give them both a try

My wife and I have just had a meal delivered from the Bombay, in Stevenage, old town, high Street, and I have to say it is one of the best Indian takeaway meals we have ever had.
It tasted absolutely fantastic, it was as well presented as a takeaway meal could be, complete with sauces and side salad.
We will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again. Perfect.
Called in for some food before my train home and all I can say is, WOW. I've eaten Indian food all over the UK and the world and this is right up there with the best of them. I had the Lamb Pasanda and shared the Peshwari Naan. My mate had the Garlic Chilli Chicken. Mine was one of the nicest things I've ever eaten and my mate said his was just as good. The staff are welcoming and friendly. We were seated quickly and served in good time.
It won't be long before I'm back in Stevenage and The Bombay will be my first choice for food.

It was worth the trip to Stevenage: excellent food from a great menu. The service was 'just right' and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.
I understand the restaurant has new management and they are doing a great job. If you want a good quality meal from an up-to-date menu in a smart restaurant then The Bombay is recommended. Enjoy!
