Great chippy, with all the usual fare! Deep fried Mars bar is a greasy gooey gift from heaven!! The staff are friendly and helpful, hence they are very busy most evenings. A great value and very tasty meal for all the family 👍🏻😎👍🏻
We have 3 school boys staying with us recently, and we served them with the local fish n chips with curry suace at Fishmans Wharf. They claimed that those real big fishes were so tasteful, especially with the home made curry sauce, that they had never had such wonderful experience during their stay
Best Fish & Chips in all of Stevenage Old Town. Parking can sometimes be a problem but the area was never designed with big modern cars in mind. Reasonable prices, can be a little slow especially when Uber Eats & Just Eats swamp them.
Hi Today for the first time after many visits everything was superb as usual but the chips were an absolute disgrace,,old ,cold and dry,..Very upsetting ,but I gave you 5 stars as I would like to think

I'm a bit fussy for quality fish and crispy chips and hence haven't eaten fish and chips for years...until I found Fishermans Wharf. Great QUALITY, great VALUE, curry sauce to die for and 5 STAR cleanliness approval. You'll eat more fish and chips.....you have been warned
Our first time ordering from here and it was first class fish was well cooked and not greasy the chips oh those chips was delicious will definitely be going back
In my opinion, the best fish and chip shop in Stevenage. Don't get taken in by the hype surrounding W.J. Rowe, first it's hype they've created themselves (and is undeserved) and there's a reason they have to spend the thousands they obviously on advertising. If you want fish and chips in Stevenage,

You never have to wait long. The proprietor is very pleasant. Prices are good. I've never had a bad meal from here in 12 years!
First time of trying this fish and chip shop and I was amazed with the quailty and the value for money. The staff are really friendly and the portion sizes are great.

Ordered last night through Just Eat. We have never ordered from here before. Our food was delivered early, was nice and hot and really nice.
