Wow, we love The Drovers Arms ! Sal and his team there never fail to deliver. The food is always excellent as is the wine. The mussel starter is the best I’ve ever had.
We live 12 miles away and it’s definitely worth the taxi ride. I’d recommend 100% as I’m sure you’ll not be disappointed.

Recently moved to the area and been trying out all the local Indians. This is by FAR the best one around the area. Freshly cooked food, great flavour and produce used. Haven’t had a bad meal either takeaway or sitting in. They really care about the food, you can tell!
Nice to see a restaurant actually using Lamb rather than Mutton. It’s worth the drive over, you won’t be disappointed!

What a lovely evening with friends. Great service and the best food I have had in a long time. I had the Tandoori Mix Grill and it was delicious. My husband had the venison and loved it. Equally our friends were very impressed as this was our 1st time here. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back soon.

Been there a few times now. Continues to be a warm welcoming atmosphere in which is a pleasure to dine. Food continues to be amazing, freshly made, seasoned delicately that enables you to enjoy the different flavours of all ingredients. Hummed at every dish and we had quite a few from starters to main.

The conservatory was empty so not much of an atmosphere but food was great. My friend ordered the duck which was over done

Good food - including some more unusual dishes on their standard menu. Nice setting too - an Indian restaurant set in a country pub with a conservatory is out of the ordinary, and works very well. Definitely worth a visit.
Never been here before but it came recommended...very tasty food that all came out hot and some different meals on menu we even had dessert which I don't normally have...also this might sound silly but couldn't help noticing how clean and tidy loos were...

Amazing cuisine and services, maybe the best chicken I’ve ever had from a restaurant so tender especially (on the bone ) dishes the staff curry is ridiculously good
I have had previous negative experiences with regards to one of the staff members at this restaurant and their unprofessional attitude.
However, last night myself and a group of friends decided to give it another go. I gave them a call in advance and arranged a booking for 9:30 with no hassle.
We were seated and had very friendly and accommodating waiting staff.
I ordered a lamb shatkhora which was amazing and tasted exactly how it should. We really enjoyed our meal and I would now return.
We've just moved into the area and just picked the Drovers off Google for a take away. What a find! I can honestly say this is the most exceptional Indian food I've ever tried. The meat (chicken or lamb) in every dish is cooked to perfection, still soft and tender (not rubber like so many other places) and the balance of the spices and flavours is just sublime. The other week I tried the Zautun Chicken, never had a curry with olives in it and it was amazing, the balance of flavours was spot on. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!
