Wilf's Cafe - Staveley - Photo album

Really nice food including a range of gluten free and vegan options. The salads were particularly good with loads of different salad items. The service was fine but you order at the entrance hence three stars. It is in a lovely spot overlooking the river Kent. Wet dog and wet clothes friendly!
Found this while staying at Underbarrow. I must admit I didnt know it was there , but it has to be said, once found its not easily forgotten. The food and service was superb and the old mill has plenty of atmosphere. When its dry you can sit on a deck overlooking the mill weir. We went back twice. T
This place was amazing, so much so that we ate here twice during our week's holiday. Even the kids tackled the Full English. If you can, sit out the back by the river. It's a lovely way to pass some time.
My family and I had brunch here whilst we were staying locally for the weekend. We read about wilfs being suitable for gluten free. I have coeliac and was pleased that there was plenty of options for me to eat. It has a nice atmosphere and lovely view of the wier to the back of the building. We woul
Quiet and peaceful place to have afternoon tea not like Hawkshead brewery which was packed out
We always try and time things sob that we are near Wilfs around lunchtime when we are going to and from The Lake District. Lovely coffee and lovely food. I often order the delicious veggie chilli. Service is friendly and efficient.
Not sure we'll return. Think it was the instant coffee provided with the breakfast but also the lack of option adding items. Would've enjoyed a hash brown but only a fixed menu available when we visited. No porridge also but not a bad meal.
Went for lunch, found it was quite busy but the orders were taken quite quickly. However you need to find a table first so you can tell them the number for them to deliver your food. The food was well presented and tasty.
A lovely cafe to visit in the summer or winter. There’s great veggie options too and the cakes are great to take away on a walk. We like to sit outside by the little stream, back in the day was a great spot for a scenic ciggy or two. Only downside is the new no smoking rules and Tory cyclers in clip
Lovely little cafe with indoor and alfresco dining. Friendly staff, welcoming and pleasant atmosphere amongst staff and customers alike.
Had lemon drizzle cake..it was exceptionally nice..the staff was very good..the parking meter outside baffled me but a lovely lady from wills came to the rescue..you have to pay to park but the money is knocked off your bill..I understand this as being where it is I would imagine that people that ar
Nice Cheese Sandwich on really good wholemeal muffin. Recommended. The cakes are good too, especially the, Millionaires Shortbread.
A traditional style cafe with a river terrace out the back - I think it used to be a watermill. Watch the river flow under you while you have an all day breakfast - veggie or meat available. We thought about having rarebit - they looked very good on a neighbouring table. Dogs welcomed as you would e
Great spot for a bite and a coffee, rapid service with a smile, good seating options inside and out and reasonably priced. Dog friendly with bowls and biscuits also.
Wow! The very best breakfast in a long time! Greatly recommend this establishment, tucked away around the back of Back Lane. Great food, great welcome, great space!
Needed breakfast after playing a gig in nearby Fell Foot Wood. Found this place on google maps. Made me the hero. Top quality ingredients. Very tasty. Busy wee spot.
Called in here for a brew and cake. The cakes are always very nice, as is the tea and coffee. Nice that you can take dogs in there too 😊
