This is a wonderful tap room. A really cool, relaxed venue with plenty of seating and really nice, knowledge staff. We visited on a wet Saturday for a pint and ended up staying hours. Nice place and friendly staff. Tried 4 paddles of different drinks and thought only a couple were worthy, celtic marches cider and lakeland lager ok. Red and bitter were ok but not as nice this time as 8 months ago for some reason, i suppose tastes vary day to day.

Brewery in Staveley, quite a distance from Hawkshead. Good range of beer, I enjoyed their Pacific Wheat beer. The food is also good, we enjoyed our winter sharer. The wine wasn't great.
