I always go here if I am going to eat an Indian meal. Simply the best in Bristol. Also the staff are really friendly. This place comes highly recommended.
Best vegetable bhuna and garlic naan i have ever had. Highly recommend it.

Been going here regularly for 15 years and tonight excelled. It's always been great but some new dishes on the menu have made it even better.
We tried the Shadin for the first time yesterday based on it's ratings and we weren't disappointed. Andy and the staff are very welcoming and the food was great. Recommendation from 2 of our group was the tawa dish. It's listed as lamb but they will do chicken on request. I personally had the Jal which was also very good. The prices are very reasonable and you can take your own booze.
We will definitely be returning again soon.
It was nice of the staff to put our drinks in the fridge. We were able to bring our own drinks without corkage fee. The food was incredibly delicious, I highly recommend this place.
We have just had our chicken tikka dansak with rice and peshwari naan from Shadins - but at John O’Groats in our Motorhome 👍❤️😘 Mmmmm delicious!!! Thanks Andy - we really wouldn’t go anywhere else! ❤️
We had a lovely curry at Shadin's! The staff was very welcoming and helpful and the food was just amazing! Few new dishes on the menu were recommended and thoroughly enjoyed by us all. Will be deffinately coming back!
First time visiting yesterday, the food was exquisite and we were able to explain what sort of thing we wanted which they then cooked to perfection, and so much of it, was awesome value.
The owner is a true gent and I would definitely return without question.

What an absolutely amazing find.
Turned up after reading some great reviews and have to totally agree.
Extremely busy on the take out front and about 16 covers squeezed in the restaurant, but not an issue as anyone coming in was obviously a welcome regular, met with hugs and handshakes.
Even the 3 of us were made very welcome.
Really tasty dishes from start to finish.
Just remember it is a BYO, so stock up before you arrive, though various soft drinks are available.

First time at this small but wonderful restaurant. Seven of us in all, seven different dishes all top draw. A great menu, great food and really great service. It's BYO but don't let that put you off, soft drinks are available in house. We're all definitely going back. Highly recommended.
Tried shadin for the 1st time this evening. Ordered a malaya as didn't fancy anything too spicy this evening. Was really tasty and flavourful. The staff are very happy, friendly and helpful. Will definitely eat here again!!!!

Went here in a small group for a friend's birthday. I wasn't familiar with Shadin before and will be certain to return again now! The food was very good, portions a great size, reasonably priced and every member of staff was a delight to speak to - cannot recommend enough!

They were very accommodating of our request for chana instead of meat, and popped some poppadoms in too. We would highly recommend.
Amazing food, had the chicken sag pathia...food comes out hot, and the chilli and lemon rice was awesome.. only a small restaurant but so friendly, bring your own drink which is a bonus..very busy on their take out but nobody was kept waiting for long. Will definitely be back again.
