Stunning pub, beautifully created areas but wide and open.
Nice beer, very friendly service and a fab location. A great pub on Scotland Road that beats everything in the area. If you want to stop for a drink, this is the place.
Net a friend for lunch the only thing that spoiled it was the sports tv.
I rarely watch ytv anyway .
However the meal was great and service good.

Nice atmosphere, nice decor and a decent pint. Enjoyable afternoon spent here. Only negative was that most tables were reserved which is a policy in pubs I personally don't like but that's just personal opinion

Great place to eat and drink. Watch all the sports on a number of TVs that you can see wherever you're sat. Added bonus Live entertainment on Saturday nights. Staff are friendly, providing a great customer experience.

Nice bright pub. Food was good and arrived quite quickly after ordering. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Shame they don't have a car park as on street parking wasn't too easy to find. Still recommend though.
Great local albeit drinks a tad over priced but Norma is a great asset and really friendly and helpful.
Played here as part of the dad's army band and had a great gig.

I enjoyed my evening out here very much. The food was homemade and tasted delicious. Great place to go to if you have any food allergies or special requirements as the staff can't do enough to help.
This is the best pub I have been to in Carlisle. I visited there last night. received a warm welcome from all the staff who were pleasant and helpful. The cleanliness was clear to see and toilets were immaculate. We enjoyed an excellent meal, freshly cooked, hot and well presented. Will look forward to returning there soon.
Had a lovely meal for a booking of 15 people as a night with work colleagues. Great service and a nice environment to be in bearing in mind it was a busy Saturday night.
I had breaded Brie for starters which was delicious along with their curry and cheesecake for dessert. The meal sizes were pretty decent too! The Vegetarian lasagne looked amazing and the chicken enchiladas so will be back to try the rest of the menu.
Lively, friendly atmosphere. Great local. Tastefully refurbished and if bar meals are what you're after (not gourmet) the food is pretty good too.
