Following the food instinct after catching the rental car in LHR. A decent family-owned British Fish & Chips in Stanwell neighborhood is just like an oasis for us. Very generous size of OAP cod&chips and chicken hot wings served our palates well.

One of the best fish and chips I've had. Too bad they had run out of haddock and had to switch for cod but we were very happy with our meal. The fish is fried on the spot once you order it so it will always be warm and fresh.
We went looking for fish n’ chips for our last dinner in London and after walking to the closest one and saw the options and no sitting area we turned around and went to skippers instead well worth the second walk! Food was delicious and customer service was amazing! We got more fun than we bargain

Overnight stay with a flight to Heathrow. This was the best fish and chips we have ever tasted. Cooked fresh whilst we waited . Excellent staff. If this existed in Birmingham we would be there every week and very overweight 😁
