A really special pub
We came to see the stone circles and cove at Stanton Drew and saw this quaint pub and decided to pop in. It was steak night and it was delicious tender and flavourful, chips were lovely with mushroom tomatoe and peas, very filling, excellent service and a friendly pub. Really enjoyed it.
We came on a Wednesday evening after booking earlier in the day. It's a popular little pub. We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our seats. We had steaks and the kids had burgers. The food was really good and very enjoyable. Wish we had room for dessert. Will definitely be back again soo

Delightful friendly country pub with part of the Stanton Drew stone circle site in the beer garden! We ate wonderful gluten free cider battered fish and chips and the chef even came out to explain to my partner how he makes the batter! Well worth a visit!
