Staff tried to talk and explain this.

It's a nice Starbucks. Service was good and polite. They don't take your name down on your cup, so getting your coffee can be a bit confusing with others waiting for the same thing.
Dropped in here 10minutes before closing. Shop was empty but staff were happy to serve without any of the now common “almost closing time” grumbles. Cannot comment on the food as I only grabbed a coffee. Which was the usual Starbucks product, as expected. I stand to be corrected on this but the prices charged at this Starbucks seemed a little out of kilter with location: felt like I was being charged central London prices while closer to Southend than London? Then again it’s supply / demand I guess.
Very chilled atmosphere, not loud but not too silent either. Nice friendly staff, would recommend.
Not the prettiest of Starbucks due to its situation and getting in and out of the car park can be a faff due to it being sited behind Mcdonalds which is always really busy. But its clean, has the full menu and I've never been in and told they have run out of something. Shuts earlier than you'd expect being its adjacent to Stansted Airport.
Friendly, helpful staff despite being very busy with drive through customers. Not overly clean with tables needing wiping and floor needing sweeping but the friendly atmosphere made up for it. Coffee adequate. No objection to us bringing in the burger that we bought next door.
Wow - what an improvement! It’s really noticeable that this branch has had a change in management - no more inappropriate chats and the customer service has dramatically improved. The new manager is welcoming, friendly and clearly very hardworking - we really hope it filters through to the rest of the team - early indications are very promising! Well done to Starbucks and to the new manager for making the necessary changes!
Basic but nice, nothing special. One stand out is the lady behind the counter advised I could have one of the Christmas coffee syrups in my hot chocolate instead of the one seasonal flavour they had as I didn't like it. Very helpful indeed and it was a lovely hot chocolate.
