I’ve been using this restaurant for years and it never disappoints. In the heart of Stansted village, it is easily accessible and has a ramp for wheelchair users. The menu doesn’t change, but why should it, it’s a winning combo of dishes that locals return for time and time again. Staff are friendly

Food is a bit costly but completely worth it if you are ever for a few hours around Stansted airport area, then this is a perfect place to get something to eat. Highly recommend
Thoroughly enjoyed dinner at The Wood Grill. No reservations but accommodated with a round table in the corner. I’m assuming, the owner warmly greeted me and seated me in the aforementioned table.

Booked for lunch restaurant was very quiet but food was excellent fillet steak was amazing cooked to perfection we will be back next time but in the evening next time to soak up the atmosphere. Staff were very good.

Lovely casual atmosphere, the staff are friendly & attentive. We had pizza from the log fire oven and it was beautiful! Prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a friendly vibe and good food 👍👍

Our local, always try to book a table in advance, there are seats around the pizza oven bar if you turn up on the night. Excellent pizzas and great atmosphere for a Friday night dinner

We had an early evening meal for the 5 of us here. Excellent choice of food on the menu to choose from. The lovely staff were very attentive. The quality of the food was excellent and we all really enjoyed it. The rare breed burgers were very tasty Definitely worth a visit.
