Came here with my Wife and my two collies. Fantastic place to go and eat and drink, especially if you have dogs. My two collies were off lead wandering around the pub. Our food was absolutely spot on as well. Thank you so much! We will come back again.
I was driving 32 miles to take my friend to Stansted and stopped here to have lunch before travelling back to London. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food is delicious. 10 oz Gammon steak chips and peas was the best! I'll have to come back here again!
We booked the place last minute and we couldn’t be more pleased. The food was exceptional and so delicious. The chef made sure of our dietary preferences. We enjoyed our starters and main courses and hopefully we will have opportunity to come back in the future.
What a great pub really lovely staff and customers. We met our daughter and family at the pub to have a meal prior to them going on holiday. The food was delicious and nothing was to much trouble. A huge Thankyou to The Dog and Duck for being such a wonderful pub and being so welcoming

Really enjoyed our lunch the food was tasty and we were made very welcome they even offered us a blanket if we felt cold there were 3 little pods which will be open on the 17th may with their own heaters and fairy lights I will definitely try one of those it was very well thought out well done.

Enjoyed our meal, good food and friendly staff. Just one young man seemed to take orders, serve and look after the bar. He deserves a medal, or better still a good rise! 👍
We stopped here on a Monday evening, 20th Jan as we were looking for some dinner. Really glad we found this pub as the food is excellent. I had sausages with bubble and squeak which was really tasty, my partner had a grilled salmon fillet which was also excellent. Both were generous portions and go

Sought out a local pub to avoid the typical chain hotel offering prior to flying. This pub came up on the search and is every bit as good as the reviews. The food is excellent and inexpensive. Hubby's gammon egg and chips was awesome and the fish & chips is huge with crispy batter and triple cooked
Popped in on a Tuesday afternoon. The food was superb. We both had the home made scotch egg starters that were the best I've ever eaten. Liver with bacon, mash and perfectly cooked vegetables was excellent. My friend had a ploughmans lunch that was off the scale. With 4 drinks this was 50 quid! Will

Great pub, good food and drinks. Family friendly too. Food was really hot, fresh and decent portion sizes. Locals were jovial and the staff were really pleasant. Highly recommended place to go. Would definitely return.
Dont be put off by thinking this is a boozer with some basic pub grub. The food is home made and fantastic. Pies to die for. Kids meals are freshly made fish and chips. We had 5 meals and they were all fresh off the pass. Friendly service and nice ambience. Think we have discovered a secret gem here
