What a fantastic meal me and friends had here. Fish was really fresh and light as a feather batter. The marinated chicken piri was moist and delicious. Also had spare ribs. This will be a regular with me especially as you can eat in. Generous portions too!

Great quality product, the cod was perfectly cooked and delicious in its light and crispy batter.The chips were nicely fried but not greasy.
If you dislike cold food, fear not, mine arrived piping hot.

Fish is fresh and large portions, especially chips, one between two people is still too much.
I used to work at the ware branch with Rob Carl Em and the guy who came in on a motorcycle (I feel so bad for not remembering his name lol) but they were the calmest bosses I've ever worked for and the food was always out on time hot and very tasty. Bit sad that the ware branch has shut down though :( but if you want good food with a loving atmosphere definitely grab something here.

I've been visiting Seaways for years. Firm favourite of our families for an easy and tasty meal. Even after we moved out of Stanstead abbotts, we keep coming back here when we want fish & chips!
Covid appears to have removed the older crew who have been here for years, but they have certainly trained the up and coming team well. The food is still cooked to a high level, the service fast and efficient and the friendly welcome as you enter is warm and welcoming. Still the best Chippie in the area by far.
My husband says Seaways fish is the best fried fish he has had from a fish and chip shop and he is ** years old so knows what he is talking about. So fresh and flaky yummy! We have been having our meals delivered due to the current situation in the world and it is has been delivered hot, delicious and sensible prices too! Thank you very much Seaways!

Love this chippy - I travel about 3 miles to feed my chipper needs, which says something as there's some really great ones in the area. Food is always excellent and I adore their chips. Fish is always first class. Highly recommended!
Always freshly prepared food, which is very good quality and quite reasonably priced. There are lots of options if you don't fancy fish and chips, although these sometimes involve having to wait while they are cooked for you. The place is often busy, but this is just a sign of how good it is. If you like something and chips, I definitely recommend Seaways.
