We were looking for a nice country pub with good food and relaxing atmosphere and Ridley Arms did not disappoint fantastic in every aspect already booked for our next meal. I have to say that all the staff from the moment we arrived to end of our visit were helpful, polite and professional
Amazing food! Lovely warm atmosphere highly recommend. Everything served to our party of 20 looked plentiful and everyone had amazing things to say. Prices are amazing for the quality and quantity.
Called in on the way past for food with friends. Service was good and food good as well. Even had a dog memu as well.
I had the chicken and leek pie and my OH had fish and chips which where very nice.
Must be dog friendly having a dog menu as well πΆπ
Main course and dessert were excellent. The warm plates keep your food hot until the last bite. Presentation and quality of the ingredients was excellent.
Sadly the cheese platter was an absolute let down, the cheese was of very low quality and not fresh. It was shocking that they will actually serv
Friendly pub, lots of space inside and a beer garden at the back. Good range of beers and tasty food. Being in a well-heeled 'commuter village' it's not super cheap, but good quality.
Good venue for dining if you travelling on the A1 Good choice of meals very good cellar beers always spot on. Fish and chips generous portion, partof the Sir John Fitzgerald group very good value for money, good choice for children.Sunday lunch served all day vv good.Worth a visit.
We stopped off while heading south on the A1. What luck to choose such a good place to eat. Fantastic roast beef and fish and chip supper all washed down with a great IPA - citric star.
Lovely food, friendly service. I had the Chicken with risotto, my husband had the Bubble & Squeak with sausage. Generous portions, creatively displayed on the plate. Very appetising! He had a beer and I had wine. Highly recommended
Although still nice enough, it wasn't as good as it used to be. We were quite disappointed. No atmosphere, and on a cold wet n windy day, it would have been more comfortable with some heat!
Dropped in on a very busy Thursday night but we're found a table. Food was spot on, really enjoyed the gammon and salmon fishcakes. Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely going back again. The bar is dog friendly with a doggy menu to feed and water them. Popular and busy pub.
The most amazing food, freshly prepared. Something for everyone! Vegan menu and meat and fish. And fantastic desserts. Priced competitively and worth every penny!
Food was was value for money and good quality along with a very friendly atmosphere made for a pleasant evening
Had a big group lunch here. They managed our group well. No long wait for drinks and food. Fun pub atmosphere.
