Favourite place to go for a drink in Standish! Great atmosphere, great prices and it always has a lovely atmosphere. If you like to sit outside, it's sheltered and also has heaters!

It's okay but can get a bit cramped in there, atmosphere is good and the staff are lovely. My partner was so pleased they had Guinness on tap as well.

Small and crowded inside, more seating outside on covered verandah. Little room to move around when people crowd the bar.

The Hoot is only a stones throw from The Albion on Standish High Street. Though it’s basically a micro bar it has a larger than life appearance due to the well laid out space it occupies on a corner plot which includes a good sized covered patio from where you can watch the village life pass by. Whilst it has cask, keg and lagers to quaff it also caters, in a big way, to their lady customers who enjoy a good cocktail and glass of fine wine, excellent place to pop-in for a pint or glass of vino.

Unsure when this opened, but probably 2016 by my guess. Located on a corner site, this very modern, stylish bar gives great views over the busy main thoroughfare of Standish. Totally unlike the other pubs in the town, this sets itself well above its competitors, and I would say justifiably so too. Swish interior with plenty of comfortable seating, there's an outside terrace too for watching the world go by. An owl theme is evident as the creatures manifest themselves in various ways around the place. This, of course, hints at the town's coat of arms which among other things features an owl holding a rat in its talons. Four cask ales always on. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely little bar with friendly staff who serve you quickly. A bit pricey and it can get a bit cramped inside, but it's a nice atmosphere and a really nice place to have a drink in Standish.
