Brilliant place for breakfast, English style. Bacon...mmmm.....
The butcher's/delicatessen side of the business is uniformly excellent in my experience; meats are fresh and well trimmed, there's a good selection of cheeses and other produce and a variety of hot foods to take away, prepared and cooked on the premises and all providing good value.
A star is lost
Stopped off here for lunch. Sandwiches are great and the size of the garlic bread portion was bigger than expected. It gets busy so if you want to rest at a set time book.
Got a forerib of beef from here at the weekend. We drove up from northwales on a good friends recommendation. We weren't disappointed. It was beautiful. Ill be calling again soon... top drawer and reasonably priced.
Great food all round. Quality is what you pay for and quality is what you get. Well worth a visit for some sausages or bacon for a weekend breakfast!
