Had a lunch meal here. Ordered the classic and falafel burger. Service was a bit slow but the service was great. The burgers were the best I've had in a long time. Lovely pub with plenty of seating, family next to us played on some board games that were in the cupboard
Nice pub/hotel. No frills but quiet, comfortable and a suitable location for great walking. Lovely staff. Good range of beers on tap. The restaurant was a bit hit and miss for us, I very much enjoyed my dinner but my companion had something different and wasn't particularly impressed. Good range of
Just called for a drink one lunchtime. Very warm welcome to what I call a very quirky pub with bags of unique characters. Do not know what rooms are like but probably ideal for walkers set in a rural location. If you like countryside, this is for you. Food looked nice as well. Will be going back to
Popped in for a quick drink and a bite to eat after going on a walk to top withins. The lady behind the bar couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely service and great prices for such a lovely location. Dog friendly and lovely 'proper' pub feel.
Can't fault this place at all. The place itself is really nice, with a great atmosphere. It's clean and well presented. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is great and very reasonably priced. They even have spooky live-in guests. Well worth a visit, we will definitely be back.

The pub itself is lovely, rooms are really cosy and clean. There were 3 of us sharing 2 rooms and both rooms were good. Fo
Had a lovely lunch, the staff are very friendly, food was really good pub grub but with a bit more refined. Will definitely go back. Read the previous review about being cold and food not good and nearly cancelled, glad we didn't, would of missed out in this lovely place.
Went here for a meal this evening. They clearly had been mega busy due to mother's day, yet we still had amazing food and amazing service. We didn't get the waitress' name but she was young, dark curly hair and glasses. She was fantastic and very accommodating. We were a little disappointed that the
Me and my GF popped in this great establishment on January 1st on the off chance we could get some food in the evening, from the beginning the staff could not accommodate is anymore with there high level service and lovely personality’s. The waitress and bar staff and cooking team were definitely 5
Having read other favourable feedback we decided to visit the old silent inn for an evening meal. The food was delicious and extremely tasty. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
