This has to be my absolute favourite place for having a great pint of Moorhouse's ale and a lovely meal. The staff are very courteous and the pub has great traditional character. The beer garden is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view and fresh air. I come here often and have brought my family, who all agree that the beer and food are first rate.
This is a fantastic gem of a campsite! Private, serene and nestled amongst the rolling hills of West Yorkshire, near Haworth. I really want to be selfish and keep this little site a secret, however, I'm unable to. I thoroughly recommend this place! Oh and I almost forgot, the pub is fantastic as well, for both food and great beer! A must visit destination!
Stayed in the shepherds Hut "Emily" for our minimoon. A fabulous 2 days, beautiful pub and Hut. Amazing facilities and lovely staff. Was truly perfect with the views and great walks. The breakfast was incredible! Would highly recommend and hope to visit again! Thank you
We've just spent 3 nights camping here and have loved every minute. The site is stunning, the facilities are great, the pub itself is lovely and the food is beautiful. We can't fault it and will definitely be back!! Thank you to all the staff at The Wuthering Heights Inn
Just home from a fantastic weekend in Emily the shepherds Hut at the back of this pub and just want to say we'll be back everything was great from the Hut to the location the food in the pub was spot on and lovely people that run the place thanks for a great weekend x
My friends and I stayed here last night, it was our first ever camping experience and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The staff in the pub were so accommodating and made us feel very welcome on arrival. We had tea and breakfast in the pub which was lovely:) I'm sure we will be back
Great pub which serves delicious, good value food in a beautiful location. All staff are welcoming and friendly. The Shepherds Huts and camp site are just lovely, too. We have been several times now and The Wuthering Heights never disappoints!
Was a lovely day so my husband and myself were able to sit outside beautiful surroundings we were, unfortunately, too late for food very welcoming young lady behind the bar would definitely recommend
Very welcoming staff and locals. The food I had went down really well. Great place to visit after a long walk.
Excellent pub with great ale, delicious food and friendly staff. Our favourite!
Just finished our second great stay in the Shepherds Hut. Darren and Nicci are great hosts as are their staff. Excellent food and beer. Just waiting for some dates to book again.

Four of us had tea there last night. Absolutely cracking. Staff were lovely and welcoming, service was excellent and the food was really good. It came from the kitchen piping hot (I hate it when food is just warm, this food was anything but that so big thumbs up from me). Very generous portions and tasted delicious. Local customers were very friendly too and it's a really dog friendly pub so nice to meet everyone's pups! 😁. Would definitely go again. Thanks very much.

Really good value lunch. Georgia was friendly and well informed about the area.. I recommended friends who went the day after Thursday this week. Sadly food service had ended. We will be back.. gorgeous roaring fire
Visited on a Sunday afternoon. It's a cosy, village pub with a good "local" atmosphere. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Fantastic traditional pub with a great atmosphere, great real ales and friendly staff, a hidden gem well worth finding
Lovely cosy old pub with roaring fires and good beer. Will definitely come back to have some food too in the future!
Called in for food but we were too late, had a drink, got a warm welcome will be back now we know that food stops 3.00 till 6.00
We called in to the Wuthering Heights pub for lunch on a stormy wet Sunday ,and were met with a warm welcome and roaring open fire , the food was home cooked very tasty and reasonably priced , the pub is also doggy friendly apart from the restaurant area , The pub was spotlessly, clean and tidy with a carpark and a beer garden with stunning views over the worth valley towards Oakworth , we can highly recommend this pub for a lovely meal or a stop off for a drink after a walk over Haworth moor.
2024 review:
I was in the area again so decided to drop by as I was so impressed with this pub last time. Again, my previous review remains valid. The ale is top notch and the pie is world class and up their with the best.. Based on my last review the wife had the pie too and was equally as impressed. We ate at a lot of places while in Yorkshire and this was by far the best. This updated review will show the place has consistency as well as quality. They have a load of snacks available for the dog too which he enjoyed.
The ale selection is varied and high quality with the staff making us very welcome. Will we we back? Definitely and this place sets the bar for proper pubs serving proper food.
10 out of 10.
2023 review:
Now this a top pub. A world class selection of ale in a proper pub atmosphere. Stunning views outside and a nice patio area. The food matched the beer in that it was incredible high quality, well served and greatly priced. I went for the steak and ale pie which was one of the best pies I've had in years.
I would definitely revisit.
The best food and the best beer no more to say. Oh and dog friendly as well just the best.
We had an amazing three nights staying in one of their glamping wagons, very cozy and the facilities were great. Comfy bed, the wood burner kept us nice and warm, shower was excellent and the view was beautiful! Short walk to Howarth, and close enough to take a long walk up to Brönte waterfalls/Top Withens to enjoy the moors.
The pub itself is lovely with great beer selection, couldn't ask for anything better for an atmospheric stay in Brönte country.. can't wait to go back one day!
Perfect stop off on the Bronte Waterfalls Trail. Lovely outside area and a great pint!
Nice cosy pub to wisit for a drink and warm meal after you've been out for a hike.
Lovely place to stop for a Sandwich and beer during our walk. Handpull beer was excellent so had to try all of them. Very nice indeed. Sandwich and chips was very hearty and filling. Dog friendly and made our boy very welcome . Really enjoyed our brief stop over here.
Called in for lunch today and were delighted with the service and the food. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful and the food was quick to arrive. The food was hot and the plates had been warmed. We had chicken and leek suet pudding and at a very reasonable price of £12.50 each with a choice of potatoes and veg or chips and peas both with gravy. The meal was very filling, very tasty and well presented. A lovely location with stunning views and plenty of outdoor seating. Also very dog friendly if you have your four legged friend with you.
Top banana this place, when sat outside you have fantastic views of the surrounding areas. Beer garden is a sun trap aswell, perfect for knocking back a couple of pints in the sunshine
Very comfortable place where you can stay, and enjoy your day, the food is very good, and beer too. I recommend it. The atmosphere is very friendly and great.
So lovely and cosy stop at the end of our long walk. Very well priced snacks, very friendly service. Would happily come again :).
Really good food. We went with a mixed group… some vegan and some carnivorous. Everyone loved the food. Really welcoming staff. Had a fantastic evening. Strongly recommend The Wuthering Heights.
Just had our Sunday lunch here and it was fabulous! Roast beef with Yorkshire pud, roast potato, mashed potato, roasted carrot and parsnip and a medley of veg selection with gravy. The portion size was excellent. Plenty of food. The beef was lovely, the Yorkshire great, the veg was very very good but my word the mash potato and gravy was to die for. Great staff and best of all the pub is dog friendly 🎉 We will definitely be back again if ever in the area. A great little place with very friendly and helpful staff who give great service. Thank you.
