Food quality was good. Not sure of some of the flavour profiles (e.g. baby octopus in a heavy bolognaise-type sauce), but ultimately the food was of a high standard and pasta was fresh and home-made. Really lovely atmosphere, food and service! Our entire party really enjoyed our meals and desserts. A little more expensive than some places but reflected in the quality (but £3.50 for soda water and a dash of blackcurrent seemed very steep...) If you're looking for a romantic evening out, Amore is the perfect spot. The bruschetta is a great way to start, and the Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli is a delicious main. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is just right for a special night.
Fabulous authentic Italian food. Brilliant service and lovely staff. Not the cheapest but well worth it. Definitely going to revisit.

I can't believe I've only just found this restaurant....we had a fantastic meal, service was excellent, all the staff were really friendly from the minute we walked in, food was wonderful,one of the best meals we have had in Stamford and will definitely be going again. Look forward to hopefully goi

We were visiting the area and booked this restaurant on the strength of its reviews. It's a lovely little restaurant in an alley in the town, in quite a basic room. We received a very warm welcome and great service from people who genuinely care about their food and their customers. The wine is not

Once again a great evening had by my family, all our dishes & the Nero d,avola red wine were absolutely delicious. Combined with a lovely atmosphere & perfect service received from Alex & his team, made for a great birthday treat.
Can't wait to our next visit to this fantastic Italian restaurant.
