The Stamford Post is a large, above-average JD Wetherspoon pub in the centre of Stamford - one of literally a dozen pubs and bars within a 5-minute-walk radius. There's one large dining room with a long bar inside, and an equally large outside seating area that is very comfortable in good weather. D

Stop off to tick off and have a coffee, we will return as Stamford is beautiful and full of character

It’s well located at the historical town center! Lovely building and spacious with outdoor seating spaces. Staff is friendly and efficient and beautifully decorated with air conditioning to cool down in summer. Brilliant place for a drink and pub meals; lovely place for the local community
This is a lovely pub with great prices and a good range of food and drinks. The atmosphere is good and there is a nice outdoor seating area. The staff are very helpful and attentive.

Okay almost the full monty. Really amazing for a spoons. Sensible customer driven staff. Great decor and a cool vibe. We were there on an surprisingly hot day so all the lads were out. Not necessarily a bad thing but a tad loud. Still not the spoons fault. Guilty of being popular... Brilliant.
We've eaten here a few times. It's great value for money. You can't expect all the bells and whistles for cheap pub grub. But the food is always hot, bargain price and plentiful.
Yes this weatherspoons does seem to attract the all day drinkers, so bare thst in mind with kids as could be off putting
