Went in on a busy Bank Holiday but managed to get a seat. Order taken quickly, I wanted to make a small change to my food which was done with no issue - thank you!
Food was great, no room for dessert so took it home with me! Will definitely go back!

Really great independent shop in the centre of town. Serves a nice range of snacks and sandwiches. Great service and a comfortable place to have lunch.
It's a small business so pleased my friend and I went in had cake and tea service was very good.
Lovely coffee and delicious food. All very reasonably priced. The ice cream is superb especially the salted caramel.
Nice food, and quick service.....only thing is they need to know the difference between a sausage roll with pastry round it and a sausage roll.. ( cob )...folk come from different areas and the meaning to food is different...ie, Bap , Roll, Cob, this isn't a moan, I'm just saying to what I saw....

The café had comfy seats, friendly staff, and was in a good location. I will definitely revisit the next time I'm in Stamford.

Beautiful place, the service quick and friendly. The food absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, we haven't tried any of cakes, but they all looked amazing. Nice decor and they selling classic ice cream in cones too!
In need of a little comfort this Autumn? Then i can recommend a cuppa and a butty from Cafe Black. A generous sandwich of fresh bread and succulent aromatic sausages, with a cup of piping hot delicious coffee: an ancient and unrivalled remedy.

Great service, greeted as soon as entered, offered the food menu, given time to choose, then prompt service, even though the place filled up very quickly. Can recommend a visit if you are in Stamford! 👍
