I cannot recommend this place enough!! Accommodated to all my crazy needs for a hen do and they were just outstanding!! Perfect garden for cocktails and as always the food never disappoints! A bloody great family run place!!�
No1 Kitchen hosts the perfect hen do! We had delicious food, an amazing cocktail masterclass and loads of fun. Holly was really attentive, making sure that everything ran smoothly and drinks were always topped up. We had the private room that looks out onto the terrace and I couldn’t recommend it more! Loved every minute �
A group of four of us went on Saturday evening it was absolutely amazing the staff the food the atmosphere. They couldn't have made our visit any more welcome than they did such friendly people. Certainly would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you all so much
We turned up without a reservation; despite a busy time, we were found a table. We both chose the Egg and Bacon burger and delicious it was too! First class service and food, would certainly recommend; if we are in Stamford again we will return.
Always amazing! Food is amazing, staff are so so lovely, have never had a bad meal there. We go at least once a month and are never disappointed ☺️
Superb meal at N.o 1 kitchen !! Everything was fresh and tasty . Such big portions , we even left some which is a first for us !!! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal . The best Sweet Potato Fries !!!! We will be back soon Hollie and Tom xx

We had a great meal here last night as always. To top it off they now have a great selection of gins to choose from. I tried a strawberry one last night (can't remember the name) and it was lovely. Will definitely be coming back!

Went for dinner with friends last night (23/12/22) and had a nice meal, the food was brilliant, where it fell short for me was the service, I know how busy Christmas time is and the place was rammed but it's the little things like waiting 20 minutes for a coke and water whereas all the alcohol was brought within 2 minutes.
I will most likely come back.
Went here with my Dad and 14 month old Daughter and was a lovely experience. My daughter has allergies and is still breastfed so we are both on a strict diet, the kitchen could not be anymore accomodating. My Dad is staying in their sister business, the guest house and it is so clean and comfortable. The ladies serving were a pleasure and really enjoyed their company. I could not recommend this place enough. Cannot wait to visit again.
Every visit here is always friendly with a great atmosphere, clean and tidy. The management and waiting staff are trained well and are an asset too. Finally the food.. Well its just fab. You have it just right, well done.

We booked the exclusive use of this wonderful restaurant, and I cannot sing their praises highly enough: the food was fab, the gourmet burgers were delicious. The drinks were plentiful, with a great choice. And while all that is a credit to them, their biggest positive is the people working there. They were friendly and fun, and nothing is too much trouble for them!

I have been eating out at No 1 Kitchen for 7 years. The service is exceptional with a warm welcome and attentive staff the minute you walk through the door. It’s such a friendly place you can’t help but feel like part of the No 1 family.
The food is beyond beautiful, I have my favourite dish of Chicken Caesar Salad washed down with a glass of Pinot with soda - they know my preference so well it’s served straight away before I even ask.
My last family visit was was my daughters birthday, our table was set with balloons and a cake with sparkling candles, while they sung happy birthday, was brought out to add that special touch to our meal! My daughter was over the moon.
While the food is excellent, it’s the team vibe and hardworking staff that make your visit to No 1 a truly unique experience… they really are the best, so happy and generous they live up to the restaurant name - I can’t recommend it highly enough - you go in as a customer and leave as a friend!

Family run eatery, something on the menu for everyone and nicely cooked food. Good service too. We spent ages just sitting chatting after eating, and we felt really comfortable. Great place to eat would recommend it.
We ate here on the off chance ( last night 03/09) as we were in Stamford for Burghley Horse Trials and what a fab evening we had.
A wonderful,friendly welcome and atmosphere fab food and great cocktails. The restaurant was busy but this didn't affect the service and time taken from the staff ; their service was excellent; the menu had a great selection and the presentation of the food was so good - and the torts are beautiful too!
Truly a fabulous evening and we would definitely recommend.

Very lucky us… stumbled across this place after an easy wonder round Stamford on a birthday break. Booked for supper that evening (cancelling our original restaurant elsewhere). Couldn’t have been happier. Lovely, lovely staff and greeted with genuine beaming smiles, great atmosphere, good modern welcoming dining space. Had one of their signature burgers (with chargrilled chicken, bacon and handmade beef burger) with masses of sweet potato fries and many dips… the better-half went straight for the chargrill cajun chicken… All perfectly cooked, perfectly presented (big stack) and really very tasty… will be coming back to try their outdoor terrace in the warmer weather. Customers for life. Ty for a lovely meal… was meant to be (even played our song by complete coincidence at the end). Totally amazing.
Had a great day here for a friend's 40th. They'd hired the private room and staff catered well for a group of 14, initially on the terrace then inside. Burgers were very pleasant and the wine and beer flowed freely. I'd go again.
Lovely restaurant that is bigger than it looks from the outside. The food is amazing, you can tell the staff in the kitchen take pride in what they produce.
Portions are very good. In all honesty if there's 2 of you dining one portion of fries is plenty between you.
Cocktails are great and well priced too. Id definitely recommend it if you want a great burger and cocktail over lunch/dinner
