The Tobie Norris - Stamford - Photo album

A great place for meeting with family and friends. The food is top notch and well presented, you wont be dissapointed. During our visit the staff were accommodating and helpful, the building itself is full of character and is a nice retreat. They are dog friendly and provided our dog with water and t
Had a fab Sunday roast. Our waitress, Penny was amazing and was telling us some stories about the building. It’s so gorgeous inside, like stepping back in time. Would definitely love to return when I’m next in the area.
Friendly service and we were able to book a table as it was very popular on Saturday. Happy it was dog friendly too! Bit of a wait for food because it was so busy but delicious food as always.
Fabulous historic building close to Stamford Endowed School. Rambling series of rooms with feature beams, rising up two floors. Very popular, good choice of real ales and wines, in line with general Stamford prices. If looking for food (which is very good), booking is advised.
Not so much a local, more of a local treasure. Always take friends that visit and those from abroad love its charm, history and quirky layout. Food is above average but it's not a place to have a gourmet dinner, just good quality food which suits the pub. Can be considered as a bit pricey but there
Pre-reserve table 301 which is a super comfortable booth on the main floor for your group up to 6 people. Note those that are less than "spry" should consider seating only on the main floor. The stairs and upper floors where built several hundred years ago. Order food and drink at the bar.
Very nice lunch time sandwiches. Gluten free no problem (much appreciated). Interesting old building. All very welcoming. We sat outside which was lined with beautiful plants. Staff helpful and friendly. Would be very happy to visit again.
Such a lovely pub in Stamford, beautiful food, had one of the best sunday roasts we’ve had! can’t wait to come back already!!
Table booked for 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon. The service was very slow, with the starter coming out 1 hour after we arrived. The upside is the food is excellent t and well worth waiting for. If the service had been better, it certainly would have been 5 stars.
We really enjoyed the 2 pizza and a bottle of wine deal for £35. Found a lovely strong ale on tap if that's your thing. Interesting pup with lots of small rooms. The conservatory seating area opposite the bar was perfect for people watching .
