Oxford Street Chippy - Stalybridge - Photo album

Great food but always check your order. Twice I've got home and found my meat pie missing.
If this isn't the best chippy in the area I'll eat my hat, except I wouldn't have room as the portions are pretty good too, well worth a visit !
If you’re thinking of a fish supper on a cold, damp evening, you won’t find better! A real autumnal treat!
Been here a few times and is a really good chippy, everything that we have had has been excellent. Update - I don't know if this place has been taken over by new owners or not but the food on my last couple of visits has seriously declined in quality, the fish was very greasy - in fact my son and I
Great service and staff. Excellent food and I go regularly. If you've never tried it, I suggest you do. Small English chippy and great prices. Still a great place for food. Update: prices have gone up a bit, due to the government guidelines on plastic and polystyrene use. But still worth going and g
Great traditional fish and chips - fish cooked to perfection with crispy batter done in vegetable oil. Also, they offer rag pudding (steamed steak pudding) which is a nice alternative too. Very good chippy, only thing I've picked up on is that the chips are a bit undercooked during busy periods
Enjoyed my chips meat pie and gravy. The staff were courteous, professional and friendly. The place is clean and mmm the smell of food hits you when you walk in. I have used this Chippy a few times and have never been disappointed. Highly Recommend
Always quality food at a great price. Staff always lovely and friendly and open at sensible times. Can't go wrong here to be honest.
Great traditional English chippy, always busy, fresh food, not stale warm ups
