Arrived minutes before closing, chancing that we may get served, but expecting to be turned away.
Thankfully we weren't, although the lady serving us seemed grumpy about last minute orders, even though other people arrived and were served after us. If we'd been turned away, we'd have accepted with good grace and gone to another takeaway instead.
The fish was delicious, with a thin and beautifully crispy batter. Some of the chips had caught and were borderline on burning.

Not had fish and chips for a very long time, years in fact but Broadlands fish and chips were lovely, shop exceptionally clean and staff very friendly.
By far my favourite fish and chip takeaway from the coast, always freshly cooked, staff are fab and friendly.

Staff were very obliging and efficient.

After reading a recommendation at our holiday cottage, despite nearer places, drove 13 mins to find this place. Was not disappointed. Efficient service on a busy Friday night and our cod and chips tasted great. Too many chips (regular) though, so it beat us. Will come again!
Visited Broadland Fried Chicken, next door and same people. Food was great had their Odge Bodge box which has variety of their menu in. All well cooked and really tasty. Great value for money too, good prices for what they do.
best place in Stalham to get fried chicken, burgers and they do proper chicken nuggets etc none of that processed stuff.

First class fish and chips. Award winning apparently. Crunchy batter and chips that taste like proper chippy chips. All cooked in beef dripping. Was very busy on the Saturday night I visited and for good reason. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
