Lovely new spot for this cafe, highly recommend trying this place out, nice variation of lunches on a chalkboard menu as you walk in, I had the roasted pepper and goats cheese tart which came with a choice of 3 salads for the salad bar and it was delicious, also happily left me room for dessert and I can say the waffles with ice cream and fruit are a must !! The staff are friendly and accommodating. We sat outside in the courtyard soaking up the ambience of the whole place ☺️

We found this amazing little place just by chance & have been back twice again since being on our holidays. What a find too, fab little place which was an old milking parlour & has been tastefully renovated with lots of character left. Delicious food, lovely friendly staff, the owner, steve in particular, who our little girl loved. Would highly recommend it & sad it's not on our doorstep. We will definitely be back. Thank you, the Leckeys

Food was amazing, catered to my fussy partner and me, even when what we asked for was quite far from the menu, nothing was to much trouble. Friendly warm atmosphere, loved the free wifi and the plate of food brought out to my three year old, shaped like a face, he was made up with this, highly recommend you NEED to try there special hot chocolates, don't leave without taking a slice of cake in with you! Was lovely with a cuppa tea come the evening!

Popped in the other day for one of those amazing hot chocolates and then a very special fish finger sandwich. We both loved everything, friendly staff, great decor, quick service and amazing food and drink, all at a price that means we'll be back very soon! Highly recommended.

Won an online competition at Thyme after time and they gladly let me give the prize as a gift to some special friends of mine. So we thought we'd pop in and say Hello and thank Margot and Steve. Had a superb platter for my two girls who loved it and their delicious milk shakes went down a treat. I had a delicious panini stuffed with Brie, bacon and cranberry sauce served with a crisp salad and a lovely Americano coffee, excellent service and lovely atmosphere.

Popped in with a friend and children, apart from the food of course being amazing and yummy...the ladies were brilliant with the children, nothing was too much trouble...even when having to dodge them when they had been salivating at the pudding cabinet!!! Could not recommend highly enough

I was treated to lunch at Thyme after Thyme by my great friend Gill today. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, l had bolognaise with rosemary saute potatoes which was delicious, and my friend had sweet potato tagine with garlic bread, looked scrummy. Thoroughly recommend this cafe, the staff were really friendly, and could not have been more friendly. Definitely going on our regular place to visit. X

Margot has been running her cafe from this site about 8 years,so I have been many times in i think the last 7+ years... I live around 150 miles away, and hadn't been here since Christmas... So I got down about 06.30 this morning and had table booked for 09.30..... I can not fault this cafe,I tend to have the Spire Hill Grill and I have yet to have a bad bit of any meal. With the ever increase in cost of living,I was expecting it to be more expensive than Christmas 2022...but nope, same price, and I think it is amazing quality for a very reasonable price. I was with family that live in Dorset and visit this fantastic cafe often....in fact my sister was in the day before also. The staff are lovely...Margot (owner) is a true professional and has built her business up over the years, take look at the website, and the produce that have, home made jams etc etc,I understand they now have some of the produce selling in a local shop. The customers in the cafe are also friendly, and seem to know each other.... I did a review on TaT before, and I'm doing this update as and edit,my original is below. We had pot of tea and three coffees...the little milk bottles, the glass teapot are just examples of some of the things they do differently...and it all goes to show the love Margot has for food and service to her customers (friends) The head chef Eve (pink shorts ;) ) is also a little star, and has been with TaT from being tutored from as an apprentice to becoming head chef... And is a credit to Margot and to catering... We came away with a couple of pieces of home made cakes....and will enjoy later. I know before I arrive that the experience will be all I could reasonably expect, and could only ever leave a rate of 5 star.... Anything less...I'm my view is unjust. My original review below Brilliant cafe,I always try to visit when in area,it's a lovely place, great food, and staff are greatest

Wow!!! Ok so not the cheapest place to have a breakfast but you get what you pay for 😍. The pot of tea is equivalent of 3 cups. Coffee in big cup. We both had the Thorne hill bunch - so much taste & cooked perfectly. Good portions - More than enough for us. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Def worth a visit & will be on our routine next time in area.

The food is quality and well worth the money. I often visit when passing on my motorbike usually in a group. The bacon is lovely, the roll are fresh and the ingredients for the breakfast are lovely. You get what you pay for. We pass loads of cafes on the way to this one and yes they are probably cheaper but you get what you pay for. I like quality at a fair price. Keep up the good work. See you again real soon.

A wonderful cafe with locally produced food cooked to perfection. Friendly and welcoming . The quality of the produce is second to none. Wonderful cakes and afternoon teas as well as regular special evenings and events. Lots of homemade preserves, chutneys, granolas, biscuits etc to buy that make a wonderful treat or a great gift. I always enjoy my trips to this great cafe. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a great place to eat, me and my team had our lunch after delivering a funeral away from home and we were very happy indeed. The food was great and the services was excellent and some good old fashion customer service with a smile! Well done and thank you!

Great home cooked style food in a quirky setting . You can bring your well behaved dog which is a huge bonus, been here twice now and staff have been very friendly. My dog loves this place - pic of him waiting for food.

Our absolute favourite local cafe, the food is always delicious, locally sourced and of great quality, much the same can be said for the" locally sourced" and "good quality" staff who always have a smile and great service. A true hidden gem in our lovely rural Dorset!

Wow! Incredible breakfasts, gorgeous coffees and cakes. I went in for the first time on a Saturday when they offer a fabulous range of cooked breakfasts. It's hard to improve on a full English but with their bubble and squeak, beautiful butcher's sausage and whatever they do to make baked beans taste like that...I will definitely be back! A little pricier than elsewhere but that goes on great quality ingredients. They even have an option to 'buy someone a coffee' which is such a lovely idea. Very highly recommended.
