A young crew, but work great together and excellent service. The fish and chips were awesome. We travelled to try this venue and were not disappointed. 100% beef dripping and sustainable fish at a great price. I just wished we lived locally 😊. Thank you
Lovely fish and chips. Cooked fresh absolutely lovely. Friendly lad serving and if your in the area I would highly recommend the Excelsior fisheries.
Always a pleasure to go to excelsior the food is great having tried a good selection of the food having work just down the road. I can say I highly recommend. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond when placing large orders.

Popped in here for our lunch today, we were looking forward to Fish and Chips by the Sea after our walk in Staithes and Runswick Bay, we'd found this place on Google Maps as we were staying in the area. Popped in while passing and got 2 of the small fish and chips. Reasonably priced and good portion size.
Crisp and tasty batter, lovely white fish accompanied with nice tasty chips.

Outstanding Freshly made Fish And Chips. The batter on the cod was perfect and delicious, chips were fantastic too. Nice to be given the option to the scraps, something us southerns don’t get offered 😃. If we visit the lovely Staithes again we will certainly be returning!
Brilliant eatery to call into, young staff with pleasant and helpful attitudes, the food is the best fish and chips I have tasted for a very long time,seating inside to rest weary legs and enjoy the atmosphere ,5 of us called in today (Good Friday)and what a welcome,food served up quickly,the prices
Really nice fish & chips (cod) we had the large fish, chips and scraps curry and peas couldn't fault any of it. Made the last night of our holiday more bearable. We will return on our next holidays
We were not disappointed with our fish 🐟 and chips 🍟, nice thick piece of fish with a crunchy batter and plenty of chips that were delicious 🤤.
There are closer fish and chip shops to my house, but I always come here. The fish is cooked perfectly, (batter is to die for), as for the chips, just how I like them!
