Royal George Pub - Staithes - Photo album

Great location and a super nice hotel. It was a great location and has a bar/restaurant in the hotel. Just a note, you will have to take your suitcases up two flights of stairs, as there are no elevators. The room is on the small side but comfortable. The bathroom is small but super clean. I wou
Lovely traditional pub in the heart of Staithes. The crab sandwich was awesome, very fresh and more crab than bread! Service was super friendly and dogs welcome too.
Amazing food and a nice pub for all the family, we were all super stuffed from just a main course and we can eat a lot, good value for money and high quality fodder. Sat outside under cover so it was really lovely as inside was full. Highly recommended if you're staying nearby and easy to find/acces
A definite 5 stars in every respect is our experience. Sunday lunch is up there with the best available anywhere. We had prior notification from a friend that the adult portion available from the menu was huge so we opted for three children sized options from the menu. Highly recommended!
Just got back home from staying at The Royal George. Perfect Location , 30 seconds walk to the stunning old Fishing port., Simply beautiful, we went to whitby, and Sand send and we quickly came back here. The other places were to big with little to offer but this little village with its shops was a
We were walking part of the Cleveland Way from Saltburn to Whitby and stayed overnight at the Royal George. Arriving parched mid afternoon, we had a lovely pint of cider sitting at the front in the sun. After that, we checked in. A lovely helpful staff member showed us to our room. A double en suite
A very warm Yorkshire welcome, shown to a smart, nipping clean room with ensuite. The bar was cosy and had a great atmosphere both afternoon and into the evening. We did not have an evening meal but the food smelt and looked fantastic. We slept well in comfortable bed the breakfast was top notch. Gr

We stopped off here for lunch when visiting staithes...and the food was amazing....you gotta try their homemade chips...just like my dad used to make 😋...friendly welcome...just a beautiful little place ...thanks for having us...we will be back🥰
Lovely, cosy pub with mouthwatering food. My steak was cooked to perfection and the portion size was very generous indeed - the home made chips were beautiful! We took advice and booked a table and we're glad we did - the place filled up very quickly and is very popular.
We stayed here 2 nights, July 2022. We were really impressed & would recommend. Great location in the heart of beautiful Staithes. Our room (3) was really lovely. The owners/staff were really nice. The beer & food in the pub on Friday evening was great. Breakfast superb. We will be back.

We have been doing a mini tour from London to Scotland, so this is one of our halfway stop off points on the way back home. We loved it, fabulous clean and comfortable room, staff very welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately we were too late to try the food in the bar, but breakfast was wonderful, l
Great place, I just wish it was nearer to where I live. On this occasion we didn't eat but I have done in the recent past and food was very good. What like even more is the fact that you can get an exceptional pint of Old Peculiar on tap, good stuff long may it last.
Excellent place to eat. Great surf n turf, fish & chips, and the best steak & ale pie I've ever had.
