Had an excellent meal here a week or two back. Restaurant was very quiet (it was a Sunday night), but the food was great. Best curry we've had in a long time. Atmosphere was quiet, but the food is the important bit. Will definitely stay at the Boleyn again just so we can eat at the Saffron.
Stayed at The hotel and decided to try the Saffron. The place lacks some atmosphere but the food was excellent and good value. Would recommend.

Staying in the adjoining hotel and decided to try the restaurant. It did not disappoint. The food was absolutely beautiful and some of the best Indian cuisine that we have eaten! Good portion size and reasonable prices! Fully recommend!
I have always found their Hyderabadi Ghosht Biriyani very flavoursome. May be the best I have tried in UK so far. However service takes lot of time. Not only food to table, but providing bill, collecting money, giving balance. Carry some cash with you while visiting this place as sometimes their car
